Have I missed any updates recently in either the Mail or Echo on Williams? I cant read either due to the utter shitness of their websites.

Official website has had the same comment that he has started some outdoor work for about a month now. Hopefully just taking things very steadily and had no set backs etc

Excited to see what he can do, got to imagine he will flourish under super higgy.

He had one which didnt work and then had another one to correct it about November or summit, do you mean that one or has there been a further one?

Seven weeks until the end of the season.

We know he’s far too good to be at this level it’s only injuries why he’s here so if the knee is sorted and he can get a bit of game time in I wouldn’t right off him being here next season altogether. Why spend all year getting him right then release him when he is?

But on the other hand I imagine this period is critical for the continuation of his career because if he breaks down again you have got start to think about him considering retirement. Fingers crossed for the lad as the last few years can’t have been easy for him.

I'm not sure he's close to a "return" for Pools as he hasn't played a minute of competitive football for us yet. That said, a run of games at the end of the season would be good to see.

I'm sure he's still under contract for next season!
What do u do?
Play him for the last 4 / 5 games of this season and hope all goes well or don't take the risk and HOPE he's fully fit for next season.

I know pools. N Higgy. say if he was fully fit then he, wud be nowhere near pools.
Hope.again that it works out but surely its time to end these gambling signings!

I don’t really see the point in trying to play him this season unless he is 100% ready. Let him get a full and uninterrupted (hopefully) pre-season under his belt and I’m more than sure we’ll have a cracking player back.

one i can see leaving on a mutual decision and going part time somewhere due to his injuries. all signings are gambles to some extent but you have more of a fighting chance if the player is actually match fit when signed.
