Looking forward to this one cos of super Hignett. Hope his first game in charge goes well.

Bromley not too hot away from home, good chance of a win and hopefully a 3rd clean sheet on the bounce.

Nice little confident, comfortable 2-0 win, Noble and Kioso bagging. clappp

agreed, amazing what having a knowledgeable and charismatic manager can do.

Loved the segment of Hignetts team talk for the recent Away the lads video, nothing but positivity and encouragement from him.

He's about as knowledgeable as you? If he is that clued up, why didn't he take the job instead of Bates? if he is as good as you reckon ( you're clearly bumming him ) its probably cost us promotion.

Bumming managers?

It’s different but anything is better than the abuse some of them have endured. Never do it in a Seaton chippy though, that would be out of order. Think of the children.

Thanks! Its a fair point though. Hignett is playing Hawkes , so why the hell as DOF didn't he suggest to Bates that it might be a good idea to play Hawkes, as I said prior to the first game of the season at Maidstone.

Hang on....

You were suggesting Hignett was running the show while Bates was manager even though it was pointed out on countless occasions that it was unsubstantiated bollocks from the grassy knoll. Gut feeling you said as you are always right, everyone who had ever had an association with the Boro should be sacked you said!!!

Now you are saying be SHOULD have been involved in team affairs!!?

You couldn’t make it up. Even though you nearly always do

Directors of football are usually involved in team affairs you cretin. Of course Pools always do things differently to other clubs, thats why they have a trophy cabinet with fook all in it, and its hardly surprising given how stupid the majority of our fans are.

Lads, horden has already told us he's the new Jesus and, after seeing what that lad did to Burton, I'd show him due respect.

‘Cretin’ ‘Stupid’

Full house on horden bingo today as he resorts to insults.

One of the more entertaining routes to it though

I imagine it’s quite easy to be always right when you can’t even remember stuff you have posted before.

How dare you look back at his old posts and call him out over his delusions of infallibility? Only a [insert insult] would do that.

Do what in packs? You've posted a ridiculous statement, admittedly your bait has worked very well, and people have responded. It's exactly what you seem to crave though. Bresslaw used to do the same but thankfully seems to have gone quiet recently.

Presuming iv been accused of 'bumming' Hignett here?

Always rated him as a manager, always enjoyed his football and always enjoy listening to him. Football has moved on from the likes of Money etc and their old fashioned ways.

Am enjoying looking forward to matches again and cant wait to see what team Raj and Hignett build in pre season.

Mr Tree sums it up quite nicely.
There is a new optimism emerging and long may it continue.
I am away this weekend and am disappointed to be missing the game, whereas not so long ago I would have thought differently.

Wrong thread bud, this ones apparently one of the threads that turns into one or two fans not liking it when someone disagrees with them and turns to insults. For the record, if anyone actually takes this place seriously enough to be upset by my posts then soz like.

Pools 2 Bromley 1 scorers irrelevant. Pools win. Happy days. Konga down Church Street and mass protests to re-open The Shades. Message for Horden: Bromley is in Kent.

Shitty Ref. He should never be allowed to Referee a game again. Could say he was/is on Bromley books.

Also typical Pools. Home game nothing to show for it. Featherstone should be drop for not taking the 2 chances on the 6 yrd line.

After the few games, the players lulled us into a false sense of security that they might actually decent footballers.
Today they reverted to type & reminded us yet again that they're not.

Got that one wrong then. Beaten by the better team with some help from the most useless, inept clueless referee iv,e ever witnessed at Pools. Missed Luke James Massively. Back to square one then for Higgy with enough games left to see who is worth keeping or get rid of. sctatchinghead

That was an awful game to watch, no momentum at all due to Bromleys tactics, hopeless refereeing and our slow build up play.

I lost count in the first half the number of times we got caught with simple balls over the top, it was back to having no leader in there to gets things organised. Passing was wayward and over hit and moat of them couldn't even control a ball. Surely hignett will have to go out and bring a centre half in with kioso being suspended for 2 games.

I was gutted to see luke James wasn't playing, he just stretches the game and is a pain in the arse for defenders, him and kabamba are a real nuisance. Muir just doesn't fit into our style of play,he's technically a good player but he just seems to hide on the pitch and not get involved, he'd me more effective in and around the box but he's never in it!.

Certainly showed up our frailties that game, we need a good few changes in the summer to become challengers.

Poor ref like but can't blame him fully. I don't mind Muir but as a defender you would be so happy to play against him instead of James.

Bromley a typical non league side, surprised they ain't higher tbh.
