Amond has been scoring for fun for Newport this season, 15 goals so far. How the fat fake Dave Jones got us relegated with the likes of him in the side is still hard to credit this many months on on. Podge's attitude at the beginning of last season stunk, but then again he wouldn't have needed a transfer if Pools had stayed in League Two.

I know it's irrational but I can't forgive Newport for the injury time equaliser that kept them up. Talk about shoulda been me. Come on Leicester!

I don’t think it was quite injury time and was a winner.

But yeah I have disliked/felt irrationally bitter about them since as well I hope they lose 15-0

Newport didn’t relegate us, we relegated ourselves.
The same players who suddenly started playing under caretaker Bates for the last couple of games could have saved us long before it got to the last day of the season clash.

The appalling and criminal mismanagement of the club cost us our place in the League vast quantities of cash disappeared from the club. Players were sold and not replaced, our centre backs for that run in were Brad Walker and Scott Harrison both did ok but it just shows how the squad was left. Jones is a twat but never forgot the true villains in all of it, the chancers and conmen named Coxall and Goldberg.

Leaving Coxberg aside for a minute, none of us fans were in the dressing room when the vastly experienced Dave Jones and his two hand-picked, experienced assistants were working their magic on what was left of Pools' squad. I somehow doubt that the players allowed themselves to get beat by Orient's youth team because they didn't like fat Dave's table manners.

I don't remember Jeff Stelling blaming the players when he told Jones to "For God's sake go."

I seriously think some of our fans have mental, health issues, I really do

We have apologists and fans of two of the biggest arsehole chairman you could ever wish to meet in Gibson and Coxhall but carry on like one of the better ones was in league with Myra Hindley

Even though we weren't down until the last game of the season, the Cheltenham away game just before Doncaster lives long in the memory. Cheltenham were very crap but we just never turned up and I just couldn't get my head around that. Such an important game and a very winable one and surely should've taken very little to get the lads up for it but it just didn't happen. The pitch was a beach though.

Gibson delivered promotion and some great players/ fantastic memories: Coxhall didn't.

So, Mr Avenger, do I have a mental health issue? Or is your memory failing you?

The club has been going down the tubes since around 2010, I don't remember Coxhall and Goldberg been around then. Their arrival was just a continuation of a club already and arguably still in freefall.

did he ever pay the money to Betty Knowles from the testimonial match or did he leave that to HH?

He sacked Alan Murray and replaced him with Vivian Busby, FFS!, our best players were sold with little evidence of the money going back to the club, good players left for nowt and the rest didn't get paid

He deserves no credit at all, the demands he put up when selling the club were laughable, he set us back almost a decade, he was a cvvnts cvvnt

Now produce some evidenced facts please Mr Avenger.

And I was actually involved in that sale - so, again, deliver the 'laughable' facts.

'Little evidence of the money going back in the club' - that's a rash and easy allegation - now produce some evidence.........

Had people, especially the local reporters, listened instead of slagging of ‘the detectives’ then Coxall would not have got away with what he did for as long as he did.

I will never forgive that disgraceful stage managed q&a session hosted by Loughlin.

Where do you even start with that!!?

Coxall and Goldberg were a continuation of the last six years of Hodcroft?

We were debt free when the club was handing to those two crooks it took less than 18 months of paying themselves huge salaries and Dubai jaunts to have club in serious financial difficulty despite is selling players and receiving increased revenue from the football league.

After Berge Larsen it’s true that we received little or no investment from Norway but Hodcroft managed to run a tight ship and make sure wages and bills got payed on time. To suggest those two were who sole interest was to extract as much money from the club for as long as they could get away with it continuation of him is quite frankly bizarre. To lack of anger towards Coxberg is staggering.

It’s like some are still totally oblivious to what happened to our club. Hodcroft unfortunately destroyed a lot of the good he did before by handing over the club twice to crooks, the first lot are already in jail and it wouldn’t surprise me if the second lot were somehow linked to ‘TMH’ they certainly had the same intentions.

Meanwhile DNO are splashing the cash

"The North Sea oil predator working to seize control of Faroe Petroleum has warned that it will not back down after its first offer for the company failed.
DNO managed to find support for its £610m hostile takeover from only 13pc of Faroe’s shareholder base yesterday, or less than half of what it needed to guarantee its power grab. But the defiant Norwegian oil giant responded by triggering a fresh offer to buy the company at the same price, while warning that it would “not go away”.
In the wake of its early defeat DNO opted to take its stake in the company from 29.9pc to beyond the 30pc threshold that, under the UK’s takeover rules, automatically requires a mandatory offer to buy the company...."

The ‘owner’, the ‘manager’ and the players all had a part to play in that tragedy to varying degrees.
