Josh Hawkes goal man ! and I bet he still won't start tonight

Both goals conceded were avoidable, the first the guy who makes it has 4 defenders around him, the second - although a valiant attempt to block the cross - it rolls straight to their guy who slots home. They didn't look like a team bottom of the league though, we have an unlucky tendency of catching teams at the wrong time, it's something we've possessed for 110 years now so should end shortly

Hawkes goal highlights something we are severely lacking...players who can run with the ball and take people on.

Can only really think of Donaldson, after that I'm struggling

Donaldson had the best goal scoring chance in a desparaely bad first half. He was put clean through with only the goalkeeper to beat and had ample opportunity to shoot but delayed long enough to allow a defender to disrupt his effort.

Nobody appeared to congratulate Hawks on his goal. I know it was late, too late but..
