Fylde not great but equally not bad away from home, seems most of their points are gained at home ( wonder what that feels like?) Notice they have drawn away 0-0 four times already this season. Under normal circumstances this is winnable despite their high placing in the league, but these aren't normal times.

I thought that must mean James Brace was another Boro trainee we were going to sign tomorrow and he would mark his debut with the opener. sctatchinghead

Boro have an exciting trainee on their books called James Hat-trick but he is going out on loan to Harrogate.

Noble misses penalty, runs over to bench and shows arse to Bates, then gets sent off

I predict, I'm working Tuesday night. Then be pissed off when I see the result. Either Bates is safe for another few games or another nail in Bates coffin with another 300 off the gate for Daggers game.

Pools 0-3 Fylde Anderson og Hat trick

'Can't be arsed anymore. Bunch of losers and a clueless manager'. Agree 100% - and you can include the DoF and perhaps even the chairman himself in that assessment, judging by his recent comments.

Season card or not I'm not wasting any more precious time on this unprofessional and disfunctional SOS until someone who actually knows what he is doing takes the club by the scruff of the neck.

1,950, Pools 1 (o.g), Fylde 3.

Not while there is still hope phil - in all honesty I am more despondent now than I was this time last year. The club appears to be on a sound financial footing (at least that is the assumption) but the professionals now charged with running the club don't appear to be any more clued up than amateurs such as Harrison, Coxall, Duxbury & co.in respect of how to stop the rot.

The club appeared to be on a sound financial footing this time last year Joe. I don't think things financially at the club are as good as they appear, and wouldn't surprise me if history didn't repeat itself , not just on the playing side but towards the end of this season financially either. The club must be leaking money, a club shop doing little in the way of sales, no one using the ground during the week, crowds falling and corporate hospital at discounted prices, we haven't a pot to piss in. At this level that's not unusual though and doesn't excuse the results on the field.

Can't see anything but another loss unfortunately, Confidence almost none excitable after 4 straight national league defeats and I can see this being number 5.

Pools 1-3 Fylde

Attendance: 2769 (51) Away.

By my reckoning it’s already five successive league defeats Smithy tomorrow will be number six.

1-1, with the axe looming perilously over Bates' career at the final whistle.
2433 Poolies, 69 Flyders.

Me strolling into work 2 hours late tomorrow morning wearing today's clothes with top button undone, untucked shirt and my face splattered with the remnants of a suspicious white powder.

Hawkes  Halle fookin lujah , though not sure about up front with James. Noble on the bench, now that's just silly , as is the absence of O'Neill and Muir in starting line up. Bates or is it Hignett knows best

Doesn't seem to be any signs of pressure when interviewed. I reckon he knows his job is safe, at least until we finally hit the bottom 6 sometime in February.

What a mess, his team selection gets worse. This bloke could be even worse than Harrison, and that is saying something.

Attendance 1721, 1680 Poolies and 41 visitors. I doubt that Raj's pockets are deep enough to afford this level of support for much longer.

Donaldson is our most creative player but his finishing stinks. He fluffed a great chance against Dover and failed to convert a tap in tonight. Why are our strikers rarely on the end of such chances?

I did not see any chips on sales behind the Mill House stand (can this be confirmed?)

This is how it all started last season.....................oh no!

As I mentioned earlier in this thread I have given up on Master Bates and his losers therefore I had no intention of being there tonight. However, I wasn't a million miles out with my prediction (1-3) - it sounds like only a fine save by Loach prevented that scoreline - nor with my 1.8k attendance prediction. This will continue to fall as more and more fans realise that like me, they have been conned yet again into renewing their ST's via a combination of pre-season smoke, mirrors and prime bullshit. As things currently stand this team is no better and maybe worse than Harrison's Heroes.

I see that Raj is harping on about 'openness and honesty' yet again. Take a tip from me fella, HONESTLY the best way that you can demonstrate this is to OPEN the club trap door and drop Messrs Bates and Hignett right through it as for all of their experience at high levels they are square pegs in round holes in the clubs current position. Attempting to play tippy-tappy ineffective stuff after recruiting a group of spineless lightweights, sicknotes and youngsters was never going to succeed without an influx of five or six quality players.

It is high time that the club stopped pretending that it is still an EFL outfit - we are light years behind the true promotion contenders and Raj needs to start operating the club like the National League oufit that we now truly are. If this means going part-time and employing someone such as Jason Ainsley or dare I say it Martin G*ay or similar - both of these know exactly what it takes to succeed in the NL - then so be it. Come on Raj, something HAS to change sooner not later - having been through the Darlo experience you must surely KNOW in your heart that this is true.

Most supporters would after the last 6 or 7 seasons settled for a mid table position , how many managers have that luxury?. The squad is nowhere near good enough for a promotion challenge, yet it contains 4 players who have been promoted from this league.

My big problem with Bates is he can't even get the best out of these players. As bad as some of them are, a decent manager would be able to squeeze every last pip out of them , and maybe just through sheer hard work and desire, could see us overachieving and secure that mid table position , even play offs at a push. Unlike the managers of Gateshead, Barnet, Solihull and many more, who also manage teams with average bunches of players, Bates seems unable to do that.

As bad as some of them are, a decent manager would be able to squeeze every last pip out of them , and maybe just through sheer hard work and desire, could see us overachieving and secure that mid table position , even play offs at a push. spot on horden. see 11 who really are trying on the pitch for 90 odd minutes would be like a breath of fresh air.
