So close to Davies bagging me a nice £400 for first goal :(

Least il save £30 for his 3 game suspension I guess.

Glad they showed the kick off for each half again, always great viewing.

I've instantly lost faith in Loach.

Davies' reaction is pathetic, although the free kick should have went Pools way for the initial challenge. Looks like we played alright aside from the goal and red card. We could play alright and get relegated though, goals and wins are what we need.

Was presuming goal took a big deflection?

Off what? I couldn't see anything between the ball and goal and it looked very central. He parried far more than he needed to as well.

Also, what was Featherstone doing taking the ball back into his own box and losing it? I've been impressed by him this season but that was amateurish.

I couldn’t understand how the goal went in at the time but assumed a deflection. Nope, just shite keeping.

Donaldson on the other hand was excellent. Really took it to them and ran til the bitter end.

I seen this bit last night when in was there, I think it's 59 seconds in on the highlights noble could off passed it into the midfield instead puts us in danger and passes back to our defence!!! CRAZY!!! Other than that and the sending off I thought we played okay, Dondson did good with his many runs again its just the final ball/pass.

Can't believe no one who was at the game picked up on the fact noble could have easily got across to their player before the shot, but ran towards him half arsed, the guy should have never been allowed to get a shot in.

just going on the highlights their keeper parried a lot too. for those who went was there a problem with the pitch at that end or just two keepers off their game.

i think the ball was skipping off the pitch fairly quickly but i suspect loach just dived too early. On a positive note, they played with a lot of commitment albeit against a very ordinary team. That was the third time that i've been to a wrexham game this season [ground is walking distance] and it's surprising that they are so high up, as the way they played against us is actually as good as they are. If we can keep playing like this for the rest of the season then we won't be far away at the end, teams like wrexham are there for the taking. They have a nice stadium, great support but the underlying fact is they don't have a brass bob, and they train on a council pitch with an outbuilding they share with the local boxing club.

Sir, our finances are in fact the best they’ve been for decades. Running at a small in the black profit for three out of the last 5 seasons. That’s before the £1.5 million windfall we received in the summer for Danny Wards move to Leicester City. The training facility you talk about at nine acres is indeed council owned but off limits to the general public and as you live close by will agree the pitches are in great condition.

As for Tuesdays performance, yes we were poor, far too many players below par and they know it. We are not joint top playing like that. Pools looked good in spells, lots of possession but in reality created nothing of note.

Loach dived too early for Suttons 2nd and 3rd goals as well. Steady keeper but over hyped imo. As for Wrexham, they are solid but very unspectacular, but they generally get the results , that's why they will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. While we didn't play too badly on Tuesday night , apparently it was Wrexhams worst performance of the season, according to their manager and most of their fans.

no criticism of wrexham intended, you are indeed a very well run club, particularly when taking into account the recent history of the club,i was only intending to highlight the general level of the league and nothing would give me greater pleasure than seeing both hartlepool and wrexham league 2 or higher. The training ground is very well maintained but training a team these days require more than a nice pitch.
