...by mutual consent. Another one off the wage bill.

I'll never forget that blunder against Maidenhead last year, unforgivable really and broadcast to the nation just to make it even worse

Another from the Coxall regime gone. Wonder how much of his contract we had to pay up?

Looking forward to seeing if this allows us to sign another player, would like to think Hignett has a few of the usual calibre up his sleeve.

Laing was a huge disappointment, looked like there was a player in there at times but decision making wasn't good enough.

Donaldson should really come off the available list, if he hasn't done so already. Newton is useful as a squad player but is hardly getting a look in at present - maybe he'll be the next to leave?

Jake Cassidy is played 5, goals 0, bookings 1 down at Maidstone so nothing really changes there - rather have a new forward in than have him back when his loan is up.

Does seem a bit harsh like if Donaldson is still on the transfer list, cant imagine he on a fortune either.

Made a shocker against Guisely in the 93rd minute as well. Fell flat on his face and left their striker clean through to score.

A dreadful player of the books, hopefully cassidy will follow. No wonder we were so bad last season with these two in the team.

Totally agree, what went wrong only god knows. Only thing can say in his defence is he was playing in a very poor team at a club in complete disarray.

He was playing next to Scott Harrison, let's not be too harsh on him!

He can certainly console himself that he was indeed better than Harrison!

Given this is the lowest level we've played at and he is generally considered the worst defender of this period, he could have the honour of being one of the worst players to ever pull on a Pools top.

Mike Fagan might have something to say about that

I'm sure we could all probably name a lot who were far worse.

By far the worst player ever in my time of following Pools. I believe he was the son in law of our then Chairman Vince Barker the very man who told Billy you must play this lad or look for another job

Was it against Notts County we let him run the full length of the pitch with the ball and he nearly scored?

How the fuck did that happen?

He has officially joined Blyth now. If he could cut out the blunders he might do alright!

Another step down for him, that's some going in only a few seasons. Makes you wonder if there is something else going on with him, not just the football.
