Looking forward to seeing if this allows us to sign another player, would like to think Hignett has a few of the usual calibre up his sleeve.

Laing was a huge disappointment, looked like there was a player in there at times but decision making wasn't good enough.

Donaldson should really come off the available list, if he hasn't done so already. Newton is useful as a squad player but is hardly getting a look in at present - maybe he'll be the next to leave?

Jake Cassidy is played 5, goals 0, bookings 1 down at Maidstone so nothing really changes there - rather have a new forward in than have him back when his loan is up.

Made a shocker against Guisely in the 93rd minute as well. Fell flat on his face and left their striker clean through to score.

A dreadful player of the books, hopefully cassidy will follow. No wonder we were so bad last season with these two in the team.

Totally agree, what went wrong only god knows. Only thing can say in his defence is he was playing in a very poor team at a club in complete disarray.

By far the worst player ever in my time of following Pools. I believe he was the son in law of our then Chairman Vince Barker the very man who told Billy you must play this lad or look for another job
