I never buy them. Probably make very nice porridge but there is something about them that puts me right off.

Never liked Quaker Oats, nothing to do with Darlo either, just have a ready brek sort of taste to me. More of a Scots Porridge Oats man myself, though lately been buying CO-OP own brand for 89p, and it tastes just the same, maybe even better, a saving of around £2.50 on a box of Scots Porridge Oats.

like porridge but would never have quaker oats passing my front door. remember my old man doing one when my mam bought a packet.

Morrisons or Lidl rolled oats are nice. Only about 60p

Delighted to hear that like other entities under the Quaker brand they are a generally disappointing, low achieving product that is best avoided. Liking Jordan's oats at the moment, they do conjure up images of toothless aggression but they're very nice with a banana.

I dunno why, that's Ebeneezer Bangedup, Porridge Supremo and the founder of the original Darlington Football Chaps in 1648. The club was a disaster, because football hadn't been invented :roll:. Nowt changes.
