So following Boreham Wood who aren't far behind us we have to play Orient, Sutton and Wrexham along with the FA Cup qualifier.

We could have a very good idea of how things are going to pan out by November!

Bring it on! rolf

Draw against Boreham Wood, A loss against Orient a possible win over Sutton and a Loss against Wrexham, Judging by yesterday's performance then again I might be wrong hopefully I am but I can't see it happening, I'd like us to see us challenging for the playoffs but when we are dropping points against the likes off Ebbsfleet at home Eastleigh at home Harrogate at home Braintree away, Wel be mid table by November/Christmas time, They are far better teams than us just looking at the top 7 and even out off the top 7 in my opinion, Again I'd like to be proved wrong but on the whole we are a far better improved team than last year which is at least one positive Bates just needs to sort out his best formation.

Sure that was said about September, and I think most have a good idea now of were we are going. The home form needs to improve, can't see it unless we sign a big targetman. In the meantime it puts pressure on us to win away, and now we are playing some of the better teams away, though I think results in this division tell you, no club should worry about playing anyone else.

This division is mental, Eastleigh winning at Gateshead, Sutton at Orient, having recently been whopped off Borehamwood at home, who lost heavily at home to Harrogate yesterday, Harrogate bouncing back from a whopping off Orient last week at home. Bizarre.

I admit a big target man would give us options, but the right target man, not Cassidy.

I might be alone here but I'd be resting some of our more important players for that FA Cup qualifier. Any chance to rest the likes of Noble and Muir should be taken - they need to be fresh for the league games over the festive period. Also gives some of the fringe players a chance of a game seeing as there's no reserve football.

Maybe not, but realistically we won't get much further than round 2 (unless we get very favourable draws or perform above expectations), just think we should be prioritising the league this season.

I think we should try very hard to win every match we play in. Extra matches do mean extra money, and a few grand here and there is useful - it doesn't have to be a huge windfall to come in handy. More importantly winning is a habit, you build momentum and confidence by getting results. For me that far outweighs any incremental gains from rotation.

If a player is worn out and knackered, probably with accumulated minor knocks and strains, then the manager should take that into account and consider picking somebody who is fully fit instead. Other than that, starting with your best eleven, adding the best cover you've got on the bench, and letting everybody play together as much as possible sounds like the best plan to me. Particularly true in the case of the defence where having a settled unit is a massive advantage.

league obviously is the number one priority but there is always a non league team every season who gets a favourable draw and find themselves to the third round with a plum premier league side. why cannot it be pools but need to find a postman or a school teacher to get the media all excited.

Exactly Accrington. We always concentrate on the league, then invariably just avoid relegation. I find it strange how teams like Lincoln, Wrexham, Wimbledon, Swindon in the past can be going for promotion and in 4th round of cups at the same time. Why not us?

I'm not saying that it can't be us. It's just unlikely. Don't get me wrong, I'd love nothing more than us to win every game and have a decent cup run every year. However, to me the players still don't look fit enough and Bates is now spouting shite in the mail about them being fatigued already. If that is the case then somebody needs to be asking what Hubbard is actually doing - surely he's only employed to make sure this lot are fit enough.
