On paper should be an easy 3 points, and we could do with the 3 points as insurance against having two difficult away games coming up, where we should be looking at least a 4 point return.

There will be some teams at the top who are overachieving and some at the bottom who are underachieving, I would put Eastleigh in the underachieving bracket. Despite having only won 3 games this season, 2 have been away wins at Dover and Barnet. Their form I believe will pick up as the season progresses.

1-1

Donaldson 78

3343 ( 42 away)

I only recently discovered the ham part of a town name means village in Saxon. Which makes Birmingham a git big village although I suspect it wasn't so big in Saxon days.

Like Mr Micawber, I go to Pools and see what turns up.I have no great expectations after a life of hard times generally at the Vic. It s sometimes been a bleak house but like Oliver said there's always a twist.
But what the Dickens, I keep turning up.

I hate you Horden.

It would be typical Pools winning 2-0 on a night they aren’t even playing. I bet both strikers score as well.

HUFC official Match Report headline:- Pools Pick Up Point Against Eastleigh

Sounds as though we did well despite dropping two points.

PS Full marks horden, but who could have predicted 15 visitors?

Did we not pick up a point then?

That’s a blow.

With them wins not counting because we didn’t hammer teams and have strikers not scoring hat tricks this is turning into a terrible start to the season.
