We’re going to be facing a much stronger Boro team today after last nights friendly with Sunderland was abandoned after 45 minutes at the Riverside due to that fairly ellish Thunder Storm!

The gap between the boro and pools is massive like 3 divisions and 300 million pounds. Pools 0 Boro 5.

They got beat off Accrington in a friendly last week

Good job we didn’t play them as that would have been even more of a hammering

pre season games are no reflection on the season ahead. accrington also beat blackburn and huddersfield but will have a worse season than pools will.

I reckon Accrington will hold their own in league 1 , at least for this season.

hope you are right horden but i,ve big doubts. pools in the play offs are more realistic though.

So seriously poor defending for the goals especially the 3rd. One simple ball from right back just goes all the way through.

I don't care who we were playing, defend like that at any level and you will concede at least two in every game.

as long as everyone learns from it and does not happen once the season starts then its ok.

I beg to differ, if we defended like that against Pools last year we'd probably still win.
