Do Pools really need to be dealing with agents, Bates mentions Hignett will be dealing with them for new signings, IOR never did ?

Oh dear, this again.

They didn't pay fees directly to agents, doesn't mean they didn't deal with them. Most players are probably represented these days and not all by bad agents.

Unless said agents are already working for the club in another capacity.

We’ll probably get a transfer embargo and start the season with about 8 players anyway, but at least that’d please the people who don’t think we should be dealing with agents.
