Does anyone use Football Index? It’s like stocks and shares but you buy and sell shares in players. It’s quite addictive but I’m doing ok on it so far. 16% profit at the moment.

The idea is to have a portfolio of players who will get you dividends from either media points or performance points. It’s also good to have a few potential future stars who you can hopefully sell for a profit in a few years if they do well eg Foden from Man City.

I’ve made a few mistakes like buying some shares in Vardy when Kane got injured as I thought Vardy’s price would shoot up but I was wrong. Hoping he starts tonight though so His price might go up a bit just so I can sell for not such a big loss.

Used it for a bit and just bought in to young players with not much of a reputation (yet) like De Ligt at Ajax and Leon Bailey at Levekrusen. Too impatient though even though it was rising. Might get back in to it for the World Cup

It’s not really like Fantasy Football. It’s real money and you can receive dividends each day and can sell players for profit. Think you get 8p per share in dividends so if you have a lot of shares (I don’t) then it can soon add up.

I’m planning on buying more shares in Timo Werner as I think his price will go up during the World Cup.
