From what I hear, Duxbury has given your saviour Singh a deadline of this week to complete otherwise you will be in administration.
He has just got back £800k from Mowden Park Rugby Club that he had loaned them, he had a charge on the arena over this loan so there is no doubt he has some free cash floating about. Just make sure he isnt loaning HUFC the money like he did with Darlo. Otherwise dont trust him one bit!

No more serious than a gas bill reminder, I never pay anybody until I get a winding up order.

What period is this for? What period was the £55K paid by fans for? Is it employers NI contributions, VAT, Income Tax?

Presumably Coxhall thought a 'winding up' order was just a bit of cheeky banter. Easy mistake to make.

Looks like the next month's PAYE bill judging by the timing of it. They'll just keep applying for winding up orders on a monthly basis if the club haven't been paying the bills except for the one settled with Just Giving money.

According to the OP it was due on Feb 5th, so that means there are other amounts due for March April, May etc.
Unless either the plug is pulled or this consortium gets going PDQ.

Look this is only £72,000 why don’t we swerve the banks altogether we all know they are just time wasters and pay Access Finance £40,000 for a £100,000 loan. I am sure Barclays do similar loan arrangements this is just better than dealing with banks, I swear down and I’m not even lying. We’ll have £28,000 left then as well if you ignore the loan shark style fee, sorry interest payment to help us follow in the foot steps of Reading and Arsenal.

I wouldn’t have thought Duxbury had any leverage whatsoever regarding a sale. Not like she has any other options, at all. If she puts it into Administration then he potentially gets it cheaper and she can whistle Dixie.

Chartered Accountant? Really?

It’s not Pams club. John Blackledge is the owner and benefactor. He will make decisions not Pam. She can’t put the club into administration.

The deadline has been set (apparently) and Singh has to complete this week otherwise they will have no other option.

This sounds about right as the wages are due next week - much more pressing than an HMRC petition to be heard in May.

It's also how our ever-reliable local journos are reporting things - Singh aiming for a done deal by this weekend.

Also that Hignett will come in as Director of Football, leaving Bates in the hot seat till the end of the season at least. Not rocking the boat makes a lot of sense, though a couple of bad results would soon change things.

So no pressure Matty - keep us up and you might have a job next season!

Be great having Hignett back at the club in my opinion. Great listening to him
At the Trust night.

But the one who smelt it dealt it. That clearly puts the early rat smellers Mr I and Chip back in the frame.

I'd love a job writing about Pools but I'm not sure about having to play golf with men in shumpers.
