If Chris Musgrave isn't his current businessman, surely he could/should be, who wouldn't want to be involved in a Jeff Stelling lead Hartlepool United takeover?

If he is, dream team, self made local business man, the face of Sky Sports and ???

read the same story in todays fail
"the club is understood to be working on an issue involving outstanding litigation to ensure any new owners would start with a clean sheet"

If Musgrave joins them two then he will be a part owner with the legendry Jeff Stelling and 900k better of than his original offer.
Surely he must be thinking about it.

Ah. From their last statement the Trust Board are in the picture on that but couldn't elaborate because its sub judice (or maybe about to be).

We can all guess, we can speculate...but we can't know unless we know somebody who claims to know.

But does that make it a known known or an unknown known?

The Trust said last night in that video thing that Blackledge is basically putting a gun to peoples heads and saying he wants people to pay his staff pay his tax bills and give him back all the money he has invested and it sounds like they were not far wide off the mark. What an absolute bastard the bloke is. As bad as Coxall in my opinion, a complete conman !

If Musgrave was a part owner with Stelling who would get the headlines for saving the club?

If not Musgrave then what else would he stand to gain from such a deal other than maybe favourable dealings with the council in future. Not sure how much that is worth to him in Hartlepool since the whole town's gone to shit.

Surely Blackledge must be up for accepting offers, as the Trust video said he is in a no win situation, liquidation he gets nought admin just a bit more than nought.
He wasn’t in it for the club but the redevelopment of the area surrounding the ground, typical property developer, no interest in the club or the fans just out to make a fast buck.

It's good that Jeff is trying to save our club and has money there as a backup even if we do need more funds, Im also hearing that Dagenhem & Redbridge are in the shit aswell they need £300 grand to save them apparently and are having a Friendly match arranged with West Ham in March with all funds going to them, I don't know if it's at the Olympic stadium or not but you would think that if Wesh Ham are doing that for them you would think our neibours would do the same at their ground, Say Newcastle Or Sunderland for instance would be a good day out get a few poolies down their and all proceeds going to us I'm sure that would bring in a couple off quid in for us, So far Boro are the only team really out off our neibourly clubs to really help us out and fair play to them, I meen £100 grand or £200 grand is what, A weeks wages will be for Newcastle maybe more? I don't know and they will most probably bring in a hefty amout on match day with them having 50000+ every other week fair does numbers are dwindling at the stadium of light but That amout of money is a drop in the ocean to them compared to what we need, A few 100k.

A match between the current Sunderland and Hartlepool teams would hardly draw a crowd!

I think if your idea to work it would be best with Boro due to the history and their fans are already on board. That said Steve Gibson could comfortably write Jeff a big cheque and I'm sure we'd consider them even for loaning our ground!

It would be a massive help if the seemingly spare money in the town where being donated to a sensible cause rather than an emotive cause.

Yeah I suppose your right about the Sunderland crowd there are only getting 170000 now aren't they? I'd say Boro Or Newcatsle would be our best bet Boro mainly as you say they are already on board, I know there's a fair few Newcastle supporters on here to so would be a good day out at Newcastle I'm not a Newcastle fan myself but a few pints in the Strawberry or Shearer's bar before the match would be cracking with the poolies there and a few cheeky ones after to.

Anyone listen to Jeff Stelling on bbc tees, he offered to pay Ronnie Moore’s
wages till the end of season and the club declined. What’s going on?

Wasn’t Moore slagging Pam etc off on twitter not so long ago? Maybe came back to bite him.

How about a Kickstarter page whereby 2000 of us pledge to put £300, if it reaches the £600k target we're committed to do pay up, if it doesn't...nothing lost?

Maybe do it via the Trust whereby the Trust gets x amount of shares?

I said this on another thread I'd have Ronnie Moore back in a heartbeat me like just till the end off the season to keep us up from the drop if anything else to have his expierience on board would be key.

Sorry but why in the name of all that's holy would you pay Sage off for their mismanagement? £1.2m is a hell of a kick start for a new club.

I'd be up for that if it's done via the Trust. You can put me down for three, me, my wife and my son.

you said it yourself it will be a new club, not pools. people will only invest in pools as is now.
you don,t need any where near 1.2 mill to start a new club.

unless you plan to use the vic, and you would need that for the upkeep.

Explain how you would need 1.2 million for upkeep of the Vic?

its o.k. for anyone buying the club, but have they got the financial capability to cover any debts after they take over. i could scrape up enough to buy a second hand ferrari but would not have anything left for its upkeep.

Imagine buying a shop and the seller tells you you’re responsible for all their debts they ran up while running the business. It would be a case of buying the business, not the liabilities.
So what is it with this deal, why would anyone with a brain buy the business and take on other liabilities? It’s crazy.

It's like on the simpsons tree house of horror IX when homer got a hair transplant from Snake and the hair kind of took over his mind and started committing murders and as the hair carried the mind of snake.

Homer then had to decide whether to keep the hair n continue a murderous spree or go back to being bald.

Pretty much the same as pools right now. Another thing the simpsons predicted.

We need more similarities with Rick and Morty. There must be a parallel universe where Pools are completely fooked and pickled Ritchie is looking lean.

Pam tells us in the Mail today what most of the town now seems to know " there are a number of potential buyers that I believe are waiting for administration " Admininstation might be bad for Pams reputation but it will probably be best for the club in the long run
It is clear Blackledge is the problem and he will keep the club on life support while the fans pay the bills for him so the likes of Musgrave wont step in until the plug is pulled the irony being had the club gone into Admin in January Musgrave could have been running the club now with a new manager and no transfer embargo and we would have 10 points more on the board because we might have been winning games we have lost !

Blackledge must love these continuous donations, we need to force his hand as no fecker is going to take on his debt.
