There isn't words to describe how we are playing we are lacking in every department in my opinion Defense is utterly shite, Midfield is terrible sideways and backwards passing all the time very rare you see a midfield player playing the ball forward, And as for Rodney don't get me started on him the only player I feel for is Cassidy with his hold up play now and again, Ohh yeah and Loach fucks knows where we will be without him.

These players won't play for anyone for the simple reason they cannot. The majority of them have seen of 4 managers at least. No coincidence the managers keep changing and the results stay the same and will do. Until we make it to the northern league and they eventually play at the level they should be.

A shocking performance from start to finish, 90% of that side should be ashamed to draw their wages this month, they are not fit to wear the shirt and are discrediting the club every bit as much as the likes of Coxall, Jones, Harrison and Watson have. I don't think pride should be questioned. Ability on the other hand yes, absolutely. These players are where they are because of how good they are (or how bad they are). If they were good players they'd be playing in a higher league surely? Let's face the music, disasters don't just happen. They're a series of critical events, which over the past few years have been allowed to get out of control, culminating in this squad of players in this exact position. I am passed the point of disappointment, anger, resentfulness, I am at the point of acceptance. Sometimes the word 'die' does need to be said.

Exactly, what you've described there is not pride it's ability, secondly I never said they had any pride or they had any pride to fight for because they clearly don't, they aren't proud to wear the badge and the colours of Hartlepool United Football Club in the same way that I'm not proud of working 60-70 hours in hospitality to just about pay my mortgage but it's what I do. These players simply aren't good enough and never have been. 80% of this team is the same team who got relegated last season! It is a team full of losers. If they had any pride they would have shown it at the start of the season, why expect anything to change this close to the end?!? Fucking hell that was tough to watch, the ineptitude of this bunch of no hopers was fully on show today. The quality difference between a part time side and pools so called professional footballers was scary, how we only lost 0-1 is beyond me, they were organised, strong, lively, hard working and managed the game well with little problem yet we are the complete opposite.
Definitely up there with the worst performances I've witnessed in 28 years following pools. Some of the individual performances were embarrassing. Laing probably had the worst 45 mins I've ever seen from a player, he was fecking horrendous, how has this lad played at higher levels?!!. Adams probably has the smallest pea heart of any player I've seen play for us, the lad just doesn't seem arsed and I'm yet to see him put a tackle in with any real venom. Harrison I'm just fed up complaining about, he's a disaster and with laing forms the worst central defence partnership in the history of football. Magnay I've stuck up for in the past but for an experienced player he constantly makes the wrong decision. Featherstone is well overweight and can't even do the simple things anymore, he used to keep the ball well and keep things moving but these attributes seem to have left him, leaving a fat dumpling doing shite all. Woods generally has one good game in 5 which is not good enough, for me he was just another passenger today, barely noticed him on the pitch. Rodney has the physical attributes to be a beast of a player but there is nothing between those ears, he doesn't know where he needs to be most the time and his finishing would generally be better suited to rugby conversions. Loach is probably demoralised playing behind these lot, kicking could have been better today though. Felt sorry for oates and cassidy, they put a bit of effort in but were again let down by their team mates. Oh and George had a better game at right back.

The club is dying a slow painful death on and off the pitch and the whole situation is thoroughly depressing and I don't see anything changing soon.

If a group had conciously agreed to poison the club from within they couldn't have done a better job than this lot are currently, you could select 11 people from the crowd at random who would perform better than this bunch of spineless losers.
The club would be better sacking the lot of them for breach of contract and playing some fans registered with the FA for the rest of the season and I would at least be convinced they were trying regardless of the result.

I have had a cold last couple of days. Woke up this morning and asked myself. DO I FEEL WELL ENOUGH TO GO TO THE GAME? reply YES!. Next question DO I WANT TO GO TO GAME, answer NOT REALLY , so I ended up at Stockton Beer Festival, and a good time was had by all. First Saturday home game I've missed in yonks and I don't feel guilty at all.

Playing at the Vic, in Blue and White, called Hartlepool United and we’d still have some suggesting it wasn’t Pools. It’s bonkers like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Also surely any version of Pools has got to be better than this current toxic mess on life support. If you turn your back on the club then you are allowing vermin like Coxall to win. We can’t let such an insignificant lowlife worm win. Whatever happens if we believe and support we can come back better and stronger from this. We’ve got to be prepared to support the club in every outcome to make sure that can happen. It’s the type of belief that belongs in that unhinged and vile Celtic/Rangers rivalry. Darlo are the same club and always will be as will Pools unless we have large numbers with such a blinkered outlook which when push comes to shove I think would be very much in the minority.

A reboot for me would still be Pools.

It’s not the law to support Pools and I’d respect anyone who decide enough is enough at any point but I can’t get my head around blindly getting behind this current set up that have played a role in destroying our club but saying you wouldn’t be behind starting afresh when everyone involved would have the best interests of the club at heart. I’d understand it more if someone was thinking the other way around, it’s an illogical thought process.

I think it's more a case of giving up on football should the club they love go bust. I can understand that but while I've lost interest more and more over the last 10 years I was a right mug and got really excited before this season began and I suspect I'd probably be the same if the club were to have a new beginning, whether that's with an owner we can trust or a phoenix club. I'm not holding my breath for the former option anymore.

It’s not a matter of letting the club fold we have no choice in the matter we can do nothing to stop it folding we have to pick up the pieces and get behind the club in the aftermath. If you decide enough is enough then I respect your choice but I still fail to see any logic from you.

We do have a choice if it does fold though in continuing or letting it die for good, why after years of emotional investment would any Pools fan let it die for good? Let the Vic sit empty? Find something else to do at three O’Clock on a Saturday. No thanks we will always have a Pools.
