Today's game will tell us something , if we beat Ebbsfleet , who are on a decent run themselves Harrison had lost the players . Putting Bates in charge is not ideal but I'd give him his chance for now. I will maintain we should not be in the position we are in with the players we're have and largely the players we have lack the backbone or passion to turn it round . We will see by 5 ocolck today to what extent Harrisons mismanagenent has been the issue.

Bates has nil experience or allegiance to the club and has been first team coach this season whilst we have underperformed. He doesn’t deserve a chance in my opinion. If they perform then fine for a while but if not or if they don’t pick up pints regularly he should be gone. No more time is available to allow underperformance. Any new owner would want someone the players would look up to.

Looking at his kite Bates could be the man to get then picking up pints regularly.

Had a couple of texts from the game words like embarrassing and disgrace featuring heavily.

Oh my word. It was truly bollocks. Properly rubbish. Not quite a Fylde but not far off.

They were all shit and the entire game was summed up when Adams skewed a pass down the line into the Millhouse near the end of the game.

Really fucking poor.

I hope any investors swerved this game.

I’d say that’s the worst we’ve been all season. It could and should have been game over after 5 minutes. No passion from anyone (infact the most fired up I saw anyone was when Magnay picked up his inevitable yellow card for getting in the lino’s face). I still can’t work out how Featherstone managed to finish the first half, let alone the full game. Bates needs to be gone ASAP, he was part of the problem when Harrison was here.

The only reason I said it wasn't the worst was we did actually create a few chances....Woods skying it from 8 yards was fucking bobbins. All he had to do was place it but no, he put his foot through it.

That should actually have been a penalty, regardless of his shocking miss. I see what you mean, but at least against Fylde we managed to string a few passes together, albeit without actually going anywhere. Yesterday was like watching 11 fellas who don’t know each other, don’t particularly like each other and would rather be anywhere else than on a football pitch.
