Just weighing up whether to bother going or not. Fucking 7hr round trip spent mostly on that most pleasant of motorways, the M62 being blinded by four light wankers whilst the sun beams down....to watch some players who don't give a fuck anymore and are waiting for the first excuse to have their contracts terminated so they can find another club, managed by a fat chap who trots out the same excuses after every game but doesn't address them in training and run by a larger lady who seemingly pays herself in gold and/or the blood, sweat and tears of the real fan whilst crying poverty at the same time.

Managers can't win. If they engage in media speak they're accused of not telling it like it is. If they do tell it like it is, they're accused of damaging the morale of the squad.

It's a shame to see him so negative about playing a few of the young lads, granted its a last resort (cut my life into pieces etc etc) but it probably deflated them a bit.

I'm not sure honesty is the issue here. Every season there are a handful of clubs in the lower leagues fulfilling fixtures against a backdrop of financial uncertainty, wages not being paid on time, players being released .... They don't all curl up and die on the pitch the way Pools did last season under Jones and are doing this season under Harrison.

It wouldn't matter so much that the manager is tactically inept if he was a fantastic motivator of players - but it's been clear for weeks that he's neither.
