Don't take this the wrong way but with the club in its current predicament I really couldn't give two fucks about former players, although I hear Jake Kean is doing ok on loan at Grimsby.

IMO Amond is a twat who threw his toys out of the pram, he couldn't wait to get away from here and made that perfectly clear with his inept and effortless performances until he got his own way thanks to the spineless Harrison. The fact that he went to a club who retained their FL place at the expense of Pools only via a highly dubious winning goal vs. Notts Co last season made it even harder to swallow. If he had stayed and knuckled down to the task in hand his goals may have made the difference in Pools having a half-decent season as opposed to the decline that followed Amond's departure with the club bereft of a natural goalscorer.

Fair comments there like, How much did we get for him by the way was around 50k wasn't it I remember reading at the time, I believe that Cassidy could be a decent goalscorer so long as we have a decent midfielder and a half decent winger or two that can provide him the service, But we all know we won't get that such a shame.

Amond did the smart thing for himself and his family. The situation at Pools has been dire the entire time he was here. If I was a footballer I wouldn't want to be at a club this badly run...

When a lad left our gaff recently he has been called worse than shite. The whole point is, he was getting paid to do a job, so do it.
If you're working in a normal job, you do your job or get the bullet, if the same rules applied to footballers, it might change attitudes.

Agreed they paid far to much in my opinion to do fuck all half the time some of them have the attitude as long as I get paid at end of the week and still play shite am getting money I'll be fine, A lot of them ain't arsed about how they play bar one or two.

He got paid to run around all day, that's his job. Other people have a family and kids to feed too, but they have to just get on with their job too, no contract for them.
