I know I will come across as a bit simple here, but what’s to say someone comes in and says “right I will pay that debt, that debt and that debt, but no way am I paying the shady consultants and if they want to take me to court I am happy to take them on as it will help expose them.”

Would it not be worth the risk?

It depends if you’ve got enough money to be able to afford to lose the case.

How about the club pays someone to see the consultants off? Surely be cheaper in the long run.

But if it’s as shady as it sounds then would they really want a public court case about it?

You’re judging them by your own morals.

sometimes you need somebody in a room who sees things slightly differently.

That sounds like me then !

Look ! Mr I should reconsider, but he has exposed a fatal flaw in respect of mental stamina etc, by resigning.

Everyone has a right to resign , especially if health or family are at risk, but all the greats do it at the right time. This was a great time for The Trust to go from strength to strength , but timing of Mr I resignation couldnt of come at a worse time in terms of membership gain. My late father wouldnt of done it. Jeremy Corbyn hasnt and I doubt any other leader of supporters trusts have either.

I know how difficult it is to be responsible for something like this, and dont blame anyone for not wanting to be involved, whether as Chairman , committee or whatever, its a thankless task, and you are always there to be shot at, cant do right for doing wrong so to speak.

But if you are going to do it , do it, and dont give up.

Come on John ! RECONSIDER ! DONT LET THE BASTARDS GRIND YOU DOWN ! the trust is gathering momentum, help is at hand, some good people , willing to assist watching and waiting.

The correct Latin phrase with the meaning would be Noli pati a scelestis opprimi according to wiki, but I still prefer to use illegitimi non carborundum myself.
