Has accumulated an extensive property portfolio of substantial value across all sectors of the market. His main interest has been the development of Wynyard Park in Teesside, a joint venture company formed with the purpose of creating one of the UK’s largest mixed use developments delivering a new settlement incorporating business space, health and recreational facilities and new homes. The business park employs over 2,000 people in 65 companies. Phase two of the development is underway with the construction of over 500 homes and a masterplan for many more with a school, hospital and retail operations.

I wonder if the trust have had any contact with him?

I’d be very concerned if he hasn’t met the trust and he has managed to get the council to give him some land or similar as part of the deal.

Guess we’ve got to wait and see. But if it is him and they have given him / selling him some land nowhere near our footie ground then I don’t see a problem.

Personally, I’m feed up with talking about the land/masterplan... if he saves the club he can have it for free as far as I’m concerned. He ain’t getting the ground ever (or shouldn’t be). The area is a mess and isn’t high value, so it would be great to get it sorted.
If the rumour is true though, the guy is proper and is involved in high end development now. Could be perfect if it’s Jeff man and the trust are involved.

If he gets us into the Championship within 5 years he can have the millhouse and it’s land.

Premiership within 7 he can have the surrounding area around the Vic

Wins the premiership he can have the ground.

Deal

If he takes it over then I would expect that its completely and not as part of any consortium. He's a local lad who had made a tonne of money. If he can save it and have a property deal at the same time then fine.

I remember his sister. Nice girl and stunning when scubbed up. I tried to tap her up once when I was on leave, I was doing ok too when she had to clear off to Yarm with her mates.

Raj Singh was good mates with Gibson too, and Gary Pallister and Steve McLaren.

I like the fact he is from the town although would feel much more comfortable if he has either already engaged with the trust or is certainly open to.

Can we take a second to gasp for air in all this excitement, we've not even been told of what socks he wears, which Paul he likes best or where he gets his kebabs from. Important questions we failed to ask both Coxall and Pam and look where that's got us.

In this case the man is the real deal. Worth personally somewhere between 50 to 100mil. Currently involved in a billion pound investment for Manson Airport in Kent. The blokes got real money and if he's serious it would be by a mile the best possible outcome.

If he is serious.... lets not count our chickens yet.

He hasn't started his talks yet.

I heard he is interested because of the hartlepool bewers. He has been told they are much better than the tanned, blonde and extremely fit Swedish ones

OK, but he is having talks with John Blackledge next week so there is still a ways to go yet.

I went out with her not long before the Miss GB thing, they had a greengrocers on York road and Chris worked in there. I was soon blown out for Eddie Kidd and Mick Channon :|

The press suggest it is happening at the start of next week so it's fair to say he's already had talks with Backledge.

Based on that Mr I who has been close to all of this is telling us, the press are telling you and that club is under a transfer embargo which is what happens when a football club is in the process of changing hands when money is changing hands.

Not that it matters now but I'm sure it's teams in the same competition so when he'd of got Pools in the Champions League he'd of had to bin of the Swedish lot.

Both Watford and Charlton's owners also own clubs all over the shop but as they don't play their sister clubs competitively there's no conflict of interest or common FA.

Ok you add 2 and 2 and make up what ever answer you want, I'll go for 4.

I just want to wait and see what happens before I do cartwheels.

I desperately hope it happens if he's genuine.

He is a truly decent good honest man and a very sound businessman. I have known him for over 20 years and believe me he is extremely careful who he deals with and what deals he gets involved in. He is nobody's fool and a very cleaver astute businessman. No way would he even consider Pools if he was not serious because he is proud of our town and its people and only ever wants to do good by them. Chrissy taking over Pools would be the same as when Sir Harold Hornsey took over...the only difference would be Chrissy Musgrave is proper minted. If he takes control the sun will finally shine on our little Artlepool united in a real good positive way. We really could not have hoped to get a better man to run our club from nearly going bankrupt because we really have won the golden ticket here. clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp clappp
