Well... we all know how big Saturday is. WE CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN!

This is a rallying call!

We need ALL those tickets sold, bring everyone, ANYONE, and get behind the boys on the pitsch!

Forget the corner flag (forgive me) and get down to the Vic early! Get spending some money and lets do what we can!

Sad times are right around the corner, all the history, the glory days, it could all be gone!

Lets get down there and get the Vic absolutely rocking!!!!

SEE YOU ON SATURDAY, POOLIE TIL I DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Went to school with Bullock, remember him just beating me in the triple jump on sports day. Don't really remember his great glory for pools though.

My only memory of Bullock is him being on the pitch next to the ref when he blew full time for the 3-0 win at Darlo.

Sing ya cuntz

In all seriousness, the current battle is neither on the pitch or on the terraces, it's in the board room and at the negotiating table. Buckets can be rattled as much as possible, but that's short-termism in the extreme. We need investment and a sound business model to move forward.

My 'glory day' was the 4-3 cup defeat by the full strength MANU Busby Babes in front of a 17000 crowd. The FA cup was prized in those days and there was never any question of resting players. I was watching from the Clarence Road terrace nearest to the town about level with the penalty area. Even greats like Duncan Edwards knew that they had been in a game that day!

Did he ever touch the ball during his time at Pools? Wasn't he one of Scotty's signings when he blew all the play-off money on a load of shite players and ex-Sunderland mates (Proctor, for fucks sake)? He was a football player in theory only - Craig Harrison would have signed him in a heartbeat and built a team around him!

They're not. It's a thread about our legends. Like Bullock. Surprised no-one has mentioned Chris Llewellyn.

Milk turned quicker than Lee Bullock- FACT

The way Martin Scott managed the team in the early part of that season was like Springtime for Hitler, Boydy on the bench first game for example (he'd only scored 29 times the season before) as he preffered Michael Proctor!! It took some effort to get that group of players playing so badly.

I think taking Boydy off in the Play Off semi in extra time was a pretty good indication of how clueless he was.....a reminder it was going to penalties, who was our regular penalty taker.....errrmm

Boydy on bench first game should have been an instant sackable offense, never mind refusing to take him off for about 15 minutes after fracturing his knee vs Yeovil
