Fantastic effort by everyone but note the momentum seems to be slowing a little.

Good decision by the Trust not to launch their own fund raising efforts too early which gave Rachel's great initiative time to gather maximum impact.

Will be lending my full support to the Trust fund raising / initiatives which I am confident will secure the long term future of the club.

Do these Just Giving pages etc take a big percentage etc?

Will the Trust be using a similar site?

The last trust statement said they would be using a site that takes a smaller percentage.

I've got me ticket for Saturday, got me uncle one and me nephew. And thats just about enough money i can hand over to the current regime at the moment without knowing why the fudge we owe as much as we do.

Some say Yubep can be found wandering aimlessly around Victoria tube station on every other Saturday murmuring about Tom Craddock and Robbie Elliot.

Could make a lot of money for the Trust if anybody has match worn shirts from those legends.

That was weird, I didn't know you could stutter online.

Can't work out how to delete them all either.

Just giving crowdfunding takes 5% plus 1.25% or 1.45%dependent on card type.

[quote="northumberland"]Fantastic effort by everyone but note the momentum seems to be slowing a little.

I noticed that the £3605 raised by Hangus hasn' been added to the just giving total, I wonder wether this will go direct to Pam/Sage or be added to the total later sctatchinghead

Meanwhile the club website, which is so quiet it hasn't been worth a visit for weeks, is happy to report that almost 5,500 tickets have been sold, as fans "continue to pledge their support to the Club" and is busy flogging match-worn shirts.

Not a word about the Just Giving page or how they would use the money raised when it's handed over.

What a situation, fans and well wishers desperate to secure Pools' long term future and owners that just want to get through to the end of the month without putting their hands in their pockets.

For the record I am not in any way, shape or form suggesting in the above post that people should not support the ongoing Fundraising efforts. I spent about half an hour yesterday stood in Morrisons talking to Andy Briscoe about the fantastic work those guys have done over the weekend.

All I have said is that we have been contacted by clubs, players, and more importantly other Supporters Trusts, that have told us they do not want to donate to anybody other than HUST. That is their prerogative. A former keeper was on the radio at the weekend saying he will donate money, but not to anyone giving it to the current owners of the football club. You cannot force people to make donations if they do not trust the people who stand to benefit from that donation.

I have handed over money myself this last week, as have all of the other Trust Board Members FFS. And will do again on Saturday if I think the club still needs it.

I saw one of the usual suspect had been shit stirring saying a Trust Official was telling people not to give money on The Bunker. Talk about twisting peoples words !!! That is not what he said at all.
The Trust have been completely clear in their statements, support the current fundraising, then get ready for the even bigger job of fundraising for the rest of the season. It was only to be expected that donations would slow as it is the sort of thing people are only going to give to once. There are also a hell of a lot of fans that I have spoken to who have said responsibility for paying the staff lies with the owners not the fans. Plenty also that wont hand over hard earned cash when it is claimed the likes of Dave Jones are still getting the proceeds. Does anyone actually trust the club to be honest about the fee they got for Simpson anyway ?
Was going to go to that meeting tomorrow night with a couple of mates but sounds like it will just be another attempt to slag off the Trust if this bloke is organising it so wont bother. Had a lot of doubts about the Trust up until the last 2 weeks but they seem to have really got their acts together.

The guy obviously scours this site looking for any perceived slights, screen shots and pastes there. Ended up people trying to patiently explain repeatedly that the trust isn’t against the current fundraising campaign. Bloody hell the president of the trust publicised it on national tv.
When everyone is trying to pull in the same direction ie get through this month then plan for the future, I just find it completely undermines the good work of the vast majority.
If you’re reading this mate, never say die... we’re all in this together.

Exactly mate , Ronnie Harnish has plugged this lasses campaign in every interview I have seen him do. I even understand the lass who has set this up off her own back is a Trust member.
Likewise Hangus and the stewards out all weekend bucket collecting all around the town, even went up to Newcastle without permission and risked getting arrested.
This bloke doing the shit stirring what exactly has he done ? Apologies if he has done loads of bucket ratting himself but from what I can see all he has done is booked a room at The Steelworks that loads of people I have spoken to know nothing about. They haven't got an Agenda and even the compere has told me he isn't going !!

More importantly somebody needs to act on a suggestion I have just read on the Facebook page. Has anyone contacted the Ginger lad off Corrie, Les Battersby yet? I think this contact could pretty much guarantee our survival. Does anyone have his number?

It is an absolutely outstanding effort by Rachel, her parents must be incredibly proud of her. I think it is fair to say that The Supporters Trust have made it clear she has our support and our thanks.

I am slightly bemused by this because on the HUC1908 board they are having a meeting to discuss how to distribute the crowdfunding money. Has she handed it over to someone from that board? Or rather handed over control of that money?

Could I also ask, has Rachel been given any sensible proper advice as to how to distribute the money?

Hopefully they get some proper legal advice and don’t assume they are doing things correctly

It seems to be being suggested elsewhere that it is known by some that debts owed by the club are now known by certain parties. Can that be true ?

I can't do screenshots but here is a direct quote ....

‘**** has commented that the organisers are now aware of who is owed what by HUFC. Surely that answers the question. Doesn’t really matter how.’

The club is fucked. Nobody is going to pay that wage bill from next month through to the start of next season. There are no realistic buyers going to step in.Needs to go under and then start again.

Just noticed that this amount has been added to the fund which now stands at over £51,0000.
