Smoke and mirrors ....Pam telling the fail that she wanted to reward the fans for the fantastic support by the way of giving a discount if we bought two lots of tickets for the two home games in a row. It was simply a ploy to get quick cash into the club. So my question is what did this QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT do with all the revenue raised via season tickets and the sale of Thomas sctatchinghead And how do other clubs in this division manage to get by with crowds of 1200 like the Daggers and yet seem not to have the huge running costs / debts we have sctatchinghead I believe we have all yet again been tricked and some type of skulduggery was always going on in the background. Maybe the real sad truth here is we are all blinded by our love of Hartlepool United and that alone is enough to allow certain " wolfs to dress in lambs clothing" and infiltrate the pack. This has got to be the end for "any chancres" using our club like a blooody monopoly board. rakxe. There simply can not be anymore "wolfs" in our club and its up to all of us to make dam sure it does not happen again. We have to stop being nice and trusting these people until they prove to us all that they are good for our club. banghead

Football will always have it's chancers and spinners, making money from clubs. Any spiv, no matter how plausible, 'investing' in a club should be chased out of town, there's no return on investment at this level. Any windfalls should be re-invested in the club, outside 'investors' aren't interested in that, we are.
Spotting them early and making a noise is your only defence against these predators. But, while there's gullible mugs on the terraces ready to believe any silver tongued gobshite who turns up, we'll have this problem.

It took a long time for a lot of people to change mindset on coxall even though could see he was a crook from the early outset.

I'm not certain Sage and Pam are totally innocent as sure they were involved with the Dave jones appointment (presumably being paid off like some other past manager if rumours are to be believed) and also was happy to take over, surely being able to see the books and see the mess we are in.

We are a complete mismanagement from ground upwards. How can we have 29 players signed to contracts, why do we have what seems a huge background staff list, why do players never actually improve when they come here.....everything about is woeful and this isn't only last season or so....it's been this way for a long time

A modern romance (all characters are fictional and any resemblance to sub-humans is purely coincidental))

Scene 1:
Coxhall: Hey Blackledge lend us a million, you be squids in when the Millhouse is redeveloped.
Blackledge: Sounds good, what d'ya think Pam, you're the accountant?
Duxbury: We've got the cash, charge him interest at top rates and we can't lose.

Scene 2:
Blackledge: How's that HUFC deal going Pam?
Duxbury: They're defaulting on the interest payments and it seems that the Millhouse development was never a going concern.
Blackledge: Bloody hell, what've you gotten us into.
Duxbury: Hey Coxhall give us your dosh or we'll repossess HUFC.
Coxhall: Ha ha ha - it's all yours, I'm off to the Costa del Essex to repoint the mansion.

Scene 3:
Blackledge: Hang on, now we owe ourselves money!! Pam, sort this mess out.
Duxbury: It's alright, we'll set up a holding company for HUFC and they'll owe us money. We can sell it to another investor (mug) and get our dosh back. In the meantime we can strip the assets that Coxhall left to service the interest.

Scene 4:
... to be continued

I think I've asked this before but can't remember the answer - why are JPNG still listed as having significant control on Hartlepool United FC Ltd?

charco, SPOT ON!!!

Has anyone called the police on this lot running HUFC?

They cannot be charging interest on money they owe themselves!!!

We need to see the books.

Complete fraudsters, the whole lot of them!

I did not buy my regular season ticket and was not at all convinced by Duxbury at the meeting when we were all told to buy our season tickets.

Made my feelings known at the time and have not been to the Vic since.

The current "owners" need to walk away, they have lost their money, so get over it!
Their mistake and if anyone owes anyone, it is that crook Cockshall!
Didn't he say that the loan was against him and not HUFC!

Pam and co, walk away!!!!

Hopefully potential investors won't be conned.
Club should be handed over to the fans for a nominal 1p and then we can get on with running a football club in a fit and proper manner.
Something that has not been done for several years!

Unfortunately I can't see the trust getting control of the club unless we are in administration because it would appear that the current owners are only interested in selling to one of the six groups who have expressed an interest and signed a non disclosure agreement so that they can look at the books. Let's hope they don't have to wait as long as the trust to see the top secret information contained within the elusive paperwork. Or maybe it's just the trust that they don't want to see the extent of the losses and how much Sage are generously contributing for the benefit of the club.

We the real people of our football club may need to get a little nasty for once and inform the powers that be to look into how " this once proud little club" is being run and why. I put it to the board members of the trust to carefully consider the legalities and what can and cannot be accepted when running a football club. sctatchinghead
