Has anyone ever had a worse view at a match, we should have been supplied with free binoculars.

Was even worse than I thought it would be. Was not just a case of the running track being in the way, it was another 20 odd yards as well from the pitch

I sat with the lad (5) level with the half-way and half-way up the stand and had a near-perfect view (once the sun went down). Could even see the steadily diminishing BA as he disappeared down the tunnel.

Once the sun fucked off it was ok. You get a much better view of each teams shape and movement when you're up in the Gods.

I watched one of the best games I have ever seen in terms of passing and movement from up in the Gods at Elland Road's East Stand (the big fucker) when Leeds beat Besiktas 6-0 in the Champions League.

I think pitch level can be a pretty bad view all round.

Agreed, The Withdean was horrendous. Cheeky buggers charged £20 as well and you couldn’t buy a ticket on the day, which used to annoy the hell out of me as I lived in Worthing at the time.

I really enjoyed the 100 metres hurdles and the long jump...........i think it was an off trajectory discus that got Woods when he went down.
