Just been granted permission to build a new stadium on Plough Lane.
15 years ago they had nothing, not even a kit and now they are in League 1 with the FC Franchise that tried to kill them and they are thriving.

Their fans must be loving life.

A club that wasn’t allowed to die by its fans and despite loads of hurdles and knock backs from the local authorities they are living the dream.

Great story of dedication, focus and a never say die determination to keep going.

Pro rata, the highest amount of supporters who are millionaires in British football. That's why I cant help but laugh when people compare us being run as a fans club compared to them , or Wycombe or Exeter for that matter, its all about the money, whether its sugar daddy, council or supporters, in that respect it will be very difficult for us to replicate what those clubs have/will achieve, but never say never.

Just shows what can be done when most the fans stick together around a common cause

They have killed another football club and a dog track in the process, AFC Wimbledon are not an example to follow IMO.

They certainly had people running their Trust who were highly qualified and experienced business people. People that had absolutely no issue with fucking over both Kingstonians and the operators of the Greyhound Stadium.

Football unfortunately these days is largely about greed, money, and business. Their fans have got the club a long way, but have pissed off a lot of people in the process. They have ambitious plans but not sure they can achieve them given their location and a lack of love for them in their community.

There are still good news stories out there, that's what keeps people passionate about football. FK Ostersunds being a great example of what a lot of hard work and love can achieve for a town and its football club.

Graham Potters club  Lots of examples on the continent, but the Europeans have a different way of doing things don't they ? the accumlation of money isn't always the B all and end all of everything. That was a merger of a number of clubs, so no doubt someone didnt like it, but most seemingly do, with gates increasing from a 1000 to nearly 6000 in 10 years.

FC St Pauli would be my model club, 22000 members , with most of them of a left wing persuasion . Like all nice people / groups , they rarely win anything like

We'll eventually end up amalgamating with Darlo and Spenny to form the superclub.......Hartlingmoor Utd or Dartlepool Moors.
