Hopefully those lamenting Franks' arrival will start to shut up as well.

Great performance today and brilliant workrate, the passage of play before the 3rd goal was absolutely sublime.

It might be a mark of how far we have fallen, but Franks does look actually better than this level

Woods, Deverdics and Simpson different biscuits today but a good shift put in by all.

I'll gladly admit I may have jumped the gun saying Harrison looked out of his depth. He's got the reaction and performance out of the players that only last week looked impossible.

Far from the finished article but infinitely improved. It's certainly brought back some of my preseason optimism and excitement.

Really enjoyed it, it's nice to come away from pools feeling you've been entertained.

I think it might be the first time in our history that 433 has worked for us with the front men getting around eachother.

Like watching a different team. We'd had two shots within the first 7 minutes which has been unheard of. What a feeling! Had properly forgotten what it felt like and I'm not referring to the winning feeling because we beat Guiseley but played shite, I'm referring to us properly playing well and deserving the win, comfortably, and looking dangerous every time we broke forward as well as assured when defending. I said to the lad in the first half 'I don't want to tempt fate but we could get a few today'. It really was never in any doubt....we even started taking the piss FFS!!!

I didn't want the game to end today.

So chuffed. It's been such a long time since I came away thinking 'we're a fucking good side'. Please, please keep it up lads.

Special mention for Rhys Oates today. Came off the bench and won absolutely every ball he went for and caused havoc in their defence. Like a new signing for us, could be a very big player at this level.

Very neat and tidy from Featherstone again, integral to us playing that style of football.

Micheal Woods was unreal today I have never seen him play like that I reckon he's still on the Vic closing down and getting the ball back.

I have said before, needs to pick a settled side, injuries aside , for which we seem to have a couple every game. Not sure about players not performing for him, plenty of yesterdays side hadn't, I just think it had to click eventually, the signing of a competent centre back in Watson cant be understated, likewise Deverdics has slotted in well at left back, and Franks is playing like a footballer who knows how sh*t it is to work in a factory for a living. It is just a case now of seeing whether it was a one off or not. The next 3 games v top 3 should show us how good or bad this league really is, and where we fit into the grand scheme of things. If we really have turned the corner, then we should be looking at getting at least 5 points out of 9.

I think it's took a few weeks to adapt to this League and what is required get results in it. If we can maintain the intensity we played at yesterday we will have better players than a lot of teams, the first time yesterday we earned the right to play.

What Harrison said, and got slaughtered for by some, about systems and tactics is spot on. It's more about graft, desire and mainly confidence which the Guisley win gave no matter how ugly.

I'm not getting carried away after 2 wins , but agree work hard and play at a high tempo , and we will win more than we lose. Maidstone were probably the best team we could of played yesterday, a team probably destined to finish mid table , not giants and like to play football , that's not to take anything away from our performance which was exceptional, with 4 or 5 players vying for MOM. Unlike some, I'm pleased we are playing the top 3 teams in next fortnight. Will show what we are made of, particularly Wrexham away game , where I would be delighted with a goalless draw , between beating Dagenham and Orient.

Talking of adapting, wtf gone wrong at Tranmere? expect their manager to be sacked soon

Not having Newton, Donnelly and laing in the side have made a big difference, each of them have cost us a goal in past games.

I'm happy with our next three fixtures as well, especially next week I reckon after two wins and yesterday's performance the League leaders (who we'll be only 5 points behind with a win) at home is the perfect fixture bring it on.

This is the best possible time for us to play the top teams, confidence and belief is high. I think we will do better against the teams that want to play football and keep it on the deck more often as we still aren't physical enough to combat the more physical teams who play long ball football.

CH definitely has a tough decision to make against Dagenham, especially if Adams is back fit, whether or not to make any changes. Deverdics needs to be in the team but would be a weak link in defence against a better team. I'd bring Adams back into the team and move Devereics into midfield in place of Hawkins. The rest should stay the same imho.

Great result. Just as long as the attitude continues to be good. Very pleased that the team are playing for the manager. Hope he can keep motivating them and we can go on a reasonable run.

No way can we drop Rodney, he has made a massive difference for me, the lad harrases defenders into mistakes and he,s strong as an ox with the ball. Its his first full game and I think he can get even better and there,s more to come from him.

He'll be unplayable once he gets more self belief and realises what his strengths are and how hard he is to play against.

I would agree with whats been said for saturday just 1 change Adams at LB and move Dev into midfield in place of hawkins bit harsh on hawkins after saturday but dev is more creative.
Plus we have got to accept simpson is only 17 so for give him max 65 minutes and build him up not burn him out.
All been said lets just hope saturdays game that we kick on play football and start scoring alot more goals.

Usually I would agree, but considering we are playing top of the league, I wouldn't like to think we had our most creative attack minded midfielders playing at left back - I'd much rather have a natural left back in Adams come into the team with Devereics being in his more natural position where he is able to influence the game even more.

Poor Cassidy, to many, our only decent outfield player a couple weeks ago, now no place for him , fickle or what ? . Not convinced of Rodney yet, makes lots of mistakes, but agree, he is a handful, and things seem to happen for us when he is on the field.

I agree, you should never change a winning team, but surely you have to play your best team . In most cases your winning team is your best team, but possibly not in this case, as we may find out very soon. As for Simpson, don't see any problem with playing a 17 year old week in week out v anybody. Anyone who goes on to have a career in the game, usually plays regularly from 17 year old onwards.

According to his Official Site profile, Connor Simpson is 116 despite being "born this century" - so he could do well to have a future in the game

Spot on. Maidstone tried to play football and, in that regard, were not as good as us. Simple.

Having said that, I don't think that Dagenham play football. My mate went to watch them play AFC Fylde a couple of weeks ago and described Dagenham are a "Land of the Giants" team.

I dont think iv seen a more timid or weak side before and that includes us. Even our weakest players were pushing past them and bullying them.

Probably the "nicest" side iv seen in a long time.

Stick with the same team and give them the opportunity to do it again, we can always bring Adams on and move Deverdicks into midfield and move one out and bring Casssidy on to give him some game time.

Agreed, especially as we are at home again. The winning team deserves to start again.
