Jeff Stelling went up hugely in my opinion when he quit as president. Extreme actoon was needed and whist some, a few, clung onto their love of Coxall, Jeff helped instigate change.

It's beyond me that anyone could not like or disagree with his stance.

My only gripe with Jeff was his closeNess to Russ green who was partly responsible for all the dodgy bastards we got linked with or dumped with.

But that was just my opinion.

Bresslaw, I went on record here as being 100% cynical regarding Pam's involvement in HUFC.
I still don't understand how she arrived on the scene during the murky slime of JPNG, but, while I'm still not inclined to believe that all's well and cushty, I can at least appreciate that there has been more communication with the fans since she arrived and for that reason alone I think that breath holding is in order. Meanwhile the Trust grows, which can only be a good thing.

Oh dear. A Topsy Turvy world. A virtual world where actually attending matches is irrelevant. Now I know where I'm going wrong, but I'll settle for the boring old turning up for the matches when I can.

In these days of quality streaming from hats, you can sit at home and watch from the comfort of your sofa, the quality of stream is apparently beret good.

What goes on in people's heads

The funniest aspect for me is the people against fan ownership 1. Think it doesn't work, when it clearly does (Exeter Wimbledon etc) and 2. Blindly supported gary coxalls reign at the club till the very last day, despite evidence to the contrary proving how much he was dodgy.

After the latter days of IOR, the failed monkey hangers bid, Jpng... the best thing that can happen to secure the long term future of the club is that it is ran by people who care... us.

I'm with Mr bresslaw, I agree the club is more stable under the current owners but we still have not had any mention of when the clubs books are going to be given over to the supporters direct people. In may we were told that by the end of June the books would have been audited and this would be the best time to hand them over its now the middle of August. And why is it that the previous two owners of the club paid zero for their shares but they want the supporters trust to stump up cash for a share, without us there would be no club for these "benefactors" to come in and save. I see some similarity with the previous regime lots of cake tomorrow with no concrete movement.

My guess about the delay in opening the books is that one of two scenarios are true:
1. Pay was at the club while Gary was up to no good so she's keen to clean things up and cover her tracks.
2. There are pretty clear signs of criminal wrong doing under the old regime so things have to kept quiet to avoid prejudicing possible prosecutions.

Can't see why anybody involved with the trust would go along with any covering up so my money is on the second scenario and I can live with being patient if it helps certain people to get what they deserve.
