Is it wrong in a thread that's been going for 5 years to admit I've never heard of Crass.
There's a French word crasse that means filthy. Are they anything like that?

Crass were bloody awful.

As were most of the oi bands.

And bands like the clash and the pistols were not really political.

They were more interested in fashion.

Only Joe strummer tried to be political but a lot of the time he didn't male a lot of sense.

Everything else is just rosent tinted bollocks.

Except the indistupable fact that the sex pistols and the clash changed music for the better in this country.

What followed wouldn't have without them.

Crass changed fuck all and like others have said not one tune is memorable and even remembered.

People need to get over the fact that 99.9% of bands were about the music.

And there is nowt wrong with that.

I think it's a sign of a reasonable amount of intelligence and flexibility to change your views with age, even those seemingly set in stone....depends what the change is from and to of course but hopefully you get my point.

It's those people who still think the same as they did 25 years ago who worry me.

Looking back at this Thread I've come to one conclusion....Chip was talking a lot of sense and is correct in what he was saying....and I was talking shite and was probably drunk!!!!
