Just finished a load of shit things I had to do which I got through by deciding to treat myself to Pools Player when I'd done.....only for the bloody sign up to say that my email address is unavailable?!

I've tried a few different email addresses and they're all the same :(

I had Pools Player either last year or the year before and used my normal email address but when I try to sign in I get the message 'the address wasn't understood' followed by this: 'Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (httpss) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.'

Anyone else had any trouble / got any ideas?

Cheers

Best thing to do for a quick resolution is send an email to the support address - ifollow@efl.com

They're usually pretty good sorting out any issues - there's also a phone number to call if you'd prefer: 0207 826 4577.

Hope you get it sorted!

I have subscribed to Poolsworld for years but now I am having problems. I had an annual subscription which was renewed automatically until now.
I haven't a clue what is going on. The subscription has stopped and no one has bothered to contact me to explain why. They don't seem to want my business.

Good man, cheers Mr Simpson, email sent.

I understand Pools get a decent wedge from these subscriptions so it's a shame it seems to be a bit problematic.....the one I had before had it's own site...I wonder if the problems are linked to it all being integrated?

i did what Simmo suggested a few weeks back. Had a few emails back and forth with iFollow, they were horiffic. Ended up providing me with a Burnley Supporters username and login (whoops!!!!)

I then re-signed up with a different email address and cancelled my old one.

Hopeless isn't the word.

Sorry to hear that. The feedback I have had so far is that they have dealt quite well with problems. If any one is having ongoing issues then send me an email and I'll chase it up with them for you.

We get decent money from every subscription yes, and we hope to do lots more to make it worth the fee during the coming season.

Any particular ideas for features always welcomed though, of course!

Why is the fee so high now just out of interest?

I think I paid 19.99 last time I had it...

I don't think it was ever that low for a full 12-month subscription. Was that possibly a half-season deal?

do you not overlay your commentary onto the extended highlights any more Mark? I seem to remember that was a thing.

The highlights were centrally edited by the EFL for the last two seasons but aren't for us this year so can add my commentary now.

When i first saw this thread i thought it was about pools having a player problem in that they had too many and were spoilt for choice on who to pick.
Can you imagine my surprise and disappointment that it was not the case !!!!!

What about a sports day feature? The players could have an egg and spoon race, who can throw the brick the furthest, wheel barrow racing and mud wrestling, stuff like that.

Is it possible to listen to the game then?
I can't find the link for live commentary anywhere, just keep seeing a video of Amond..
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How on earth are you supposed to listen to the commentary? there's no link for it, only for the videos.

Thanks eventually found the link on the Pools homepage, the link Gerry posted.
The website is a little primitive!

Have been given a couple of suggestions to get it working - they didn't work - sent another email confirming this and had no response and nobody picks up the 0207 number....

Some people just don't want your money lol :)

If you have already signed up with an email address on the old platform, you will need to reset the password (rather than making a new account).. I think.

But, the email goes to your junk/spam folder, so check in there

Just tried it Mr Poolie but just get this:

The address wasn't understood

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (httpss) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

You might need to install other software to open this address.
