Each to their own and all that but I have no idea why anyone would want to resign Franks. For a start they say never go back as it never works second time, especially when he was utterly shite the first time. He's the opposite of the type of player and character we need right now.

There are 100 plus full time professional clubs on the British isles and we are the only one showing any interest in Jonathan Franks. That is all that needs to be said. He should be on trial for obtaining money under false pretense.

Being harsh on Franks. He was far from the worst player we've had, but I agree we should look elsewhere.

He could do worse than trying to get a deal with Scott Fenwick and Jordan Richards at Darlo.

Mondal would be a lovely little signing. Seen him and Maloney play numerous times for the Boro U21/23 sides. Would definitely make it in this league and both would get better and better. Could easy see a decent league side coming in for Mondal if he has a good season. Franks... wouldn't be too bothered if he came or not.... be a good nuisance player to bring on if we are drawing and need something else. Would of rather us took Fewster back as I'm sure someone in the Scottish prem or first division are looking at him just now.
