I went to that take away down there that there is a 40 page thread on and there was 4 smack/piss heads stood outside it on the white lightening while a mini riot was kicking off down one of the streets!

I wasn't overly impressed with takeaway and they got the order wrong

Really sad to see how it is these days. I grew up on Peebles Avenue and it was like Dubai then compared to now. I remember all the streets off the Burn Valley (Baden Street area) nosediving a cew years ago as well.

Would imagine , after they bulldozed , terraced streets around Murray St / Hart Lane area, that the problem would shift to what were once the better streets off Elwick Road and now it appears Oxford Road.

This is what happens when you have a de-regulated anything goes system, more interested in profit rather than social cohesion. Personally I think it would of been better to have spruced the houses up off Hart Lane and had strict rules regarding private landlords and unruly tenants.

They're like locusts, combined with private landlords. It's been hoping that way for a few years, get one in the street and the streets fucked. Decent little streets till now. It's the older ones I feel sorry for.

Which are the older streets?
