I still have visions of him taking the ball from his goalmouth and running through Pools midfield when Notts County scored last season

Remember him being one of the Sunderland youths that were tipped to be the next big thing. Got an injury and never came back right.

Watching his interview he seems very much a confidence player, I'm happy that we seem to have a manager in who can deal with that.

Reasonably pleased with the business we've done and looking forward to the season but not getting too excited until I've seen them all play in competitive football. I remember being about this excited last year after our summer signings and look how that panned out...

You should be used to being barred from your local shop. You is from Trimdon afterall.

I'm sure each one of the 15 Trimdons in that area probably only has one shop in so this barring could be fatal. Their all related up that way so I'm sure they'll get over it.

Afraid I don't live there anymore after being barred from the shop for asking for a subscription to 'Right Back's Behinds'.

For the niche testicle-loving market there's always 'Long Diagonal Balls'.

Is there a magazine called 'Foreigners who go down cheaply'?
Might be by the same authors as 'Targetmen who came too soon'.

Are you trying to say he's looking for a hard man who likes to go in where it hurts?
