While Brad Walker had the talent he did not have the right attitude to go with it. If things were going against Pools on a wet and windy Tuesday night he just did not want to know.If Crewe can get his attitude right they could be on to a winner. I just hope that a sell on clause is in place!!

I hope they got lots of pace around him.

A real shame.

Started off looking like an awesome prospect, who looked capable of playing at a much higher level.

Then he started galloping like a tortoise (like a horse but in slow motion), these were put down to growing pains.

A few years later, he was even slower.

Sometimes he looked like he couldn't be arsed, other times he looked like he was in a confused daze.

Looked better in central defence in a very poor side, then went back to midfield for Dave Jones' last game and was truly horrific. It was painful seeing a once talented prospect watch the game pass him by.

I hope Crewe get the best out of him because beneath it all, there was a good player in there somewhere.

Think he's right to want a fresh start at another club. Things had gone very stale for him at Pools and half a season looking decent in a different position doesn't change that.

Maybe he's still got a bit of growing up to do, and Crewe will be a new environment for that.

If he applied his talent he'd have been gone long before now.

What evidence have we ever seen of this 'bad attitude' I keep reading about?

He certainly changed physically over one summer which I think effected his game as a midfielder.

We all have different of opinions on players how ever at least we got a fee for him being under 24.
I dont think ive ever known pools sell so many players over the last season in their history and the club still says they are skint,i know players earn a bob or two but i only missed a few away games last season maybe these were the ones ronaldo played in cos the ones i watched week in week out wernt worth the money they were getting paid.
See what the newbies are like thursday night and hopefully harrison will get a couple more players in.

Considering most wanted rid for nothing last Summer, this is decent that we get a fee, however small.

Need at least 2 centre backs now though

He showed great potential and natural talent before seeming to lose confidence.
Colin Cooper did him no favours by continuing to play him when he was obviously struggling and the crowd started getting on his back.
Good luck to the lad.

Think Walkers biggest flaw was his lack of aggression, even looking at him in a Crewe shirt , he just looks soft and not a bad bone in his body.
