Spent the afternoon on me hammock today and a couple of thrushes were running about underneath me. Anyway I had to get up and surprised they didn't fly away. Decided to get them some seeds and nuts and fling them a few which they enjoyed so got back in me hammock and they stayed in the garden. Anyway I thought I'd see if they would take some seeds out of my hand and after about 15 minutes they did.

Never know wild birds be so tame.

'Cool story bro' etc etc

It all sounds a bit degrading you should at least give her a plate.

That post was brought to you by the 1970's.

The spuggies come scavenging on outdoor tables here. They won't be intimidated, and if you try to brush them away they push right back.

Hand Feeding Bands were superb at Glastonbury, anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't have a clue about music and is an arsehole.

If they were eating seed out of your hand, then I very much doubt they were thrushes.

Hope this helps.

Definietly thrushes, speckled chests. Didnt even fly away when i moved towards them, at first thought they couldnt fly and had been hurt but they eventually flew onto the fence.

They are shit scared of starlings mind.

Could they play complicated chords that only a few privileged people would get?

Or that they were baby blackbirds ?

Shouldn't give them bread if they are babies, its bad for them.

True, just habit to fling left over bread out. Only the best nut/trail mix for the two thrushes from now on. Really strange birds, they seem to have no inclination to fly, just seem happy hopping about in the mud. Imagine be easy pray for the cats as seem to have no idea what going on around them.
