I think he has had enough chances and its about time he took his supposed potential elsewhere..

I wouldn't be too bothered if he went elsewhere, as others have said he has had plenty of chances in the past. He was a decent defender when we were in possession, but his defensive positioning was poor because he has always been a midfielder.

I would hope that we would be able to bring in far better and more experienced defenders rather than relying on a young lad being played out of position as our first choice centre back.

Well I'm sorry but that's just bollocks. If professional coaches can't work out how good a player is after a session or two of coaching and a competitive game or two even at seven a side then I would tell them to fuck off

Brad Walker has something, i can see it and so can my pet goldfish and also all the coaches he has had in the past few years.
He needs to stay at pools and knuckle down.If he has a good season and proves himself he could go on to bigger things and we might get some decent dosh for him.

I'm not sure how he 'stagnated' last season he completely reinvented himself as a player and looked like someone who could play at a higher level with more experience at centre half.

Once the magic dust had worn off , I didn't think he was that clever at centre half in the last half dozen games of the season.

I think he stood out in a team shockingly low on confidence and quality. I'd be disappointed to see him go and think he'd be making a mistake if he did.
