According to Loughlin in today's Northern Echo, Brad is stalling on signing a new deal "amid interest from Morecambe."

Ah well, bang goes another £500,000 transfer. Suppose Morecambe might run to a tenner and a box of kippers.

I think he'll stay. If he's to be a centre back he could do with a full season there before a move.

I think that cos I do. Unless The Colonel does then I'm strongly against it as he never goes to Pools.

its obvious innit?

Walker, Wolves, Wigan.

Expect Wests Brom and Ham to be mentioned next, as well as Werder Bremen.

And Wales.

Spot on PJ - M6, M56, M62.

I'm pretty sure there's a ley line linking Wigan and Morecambe too.

You missed the obvious one. It is of course Wrexham. The W is silent as in Psimon Psmith.

Yes I'm sure he's trying to force Pools hand to get a move three days before his contract expires.

Player power has gone mad these days contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on.

Possibly for the same reason as Harrison

I doubt the manager would want him involved with the group until he's pledged his future anyway, it's all about building relationships and team spirit.

Jack Blackford with the squad today too.

According to rumour he signed for Rangers for £25k a couple of days ago!

Just how much time do they need to assess him?! Hasn't he been on trial with them forever already and played a couple of times for them in some tournament or other?

Given a choice, I'd prefer Jack rather than Brad to stay..............

Brad - yes, Morecambe looks nicer than Haverton Hill in the rain but...............

Blackford has talent and potential but realistically who will contribute more in the conference next season especially when we are short of centre backs?

Only slightly better. Drove through last week in the rain and Morecambe was deserted, they don't bury the dead in Morecambe, they stand them in bus shelters.

We'd miss Walker at the back and no doubt the compensation for his development would be a pittance despite him being young player of the year a few seasons back.

Would like to see Brad stay as a centre back, but if he wants to revert back to being a midfielder, he won't be missed

I think he has had enough chances and its about time he took his supposed potential elsewhere..

I wouldn't be too bothered if he went elsewhere, as others have said he has had plenty of chances in the past. He was a decent defender when we were in possession, but his defensive positioning was poor because he has always been a midfielder.

I would hope that we would be able to bring in far better and more experienced defenders rather than relying on a young lad being played out of position as our first choice centre back.

He could turn out to be a tremendous player under Harrison
And a great asset to the club.

Well I'm sorry but that's just bollocks. If professional coaches can't work out how good a player is after a session or two of coaching and a competitive game or two even at seven a side then I would tell them to fuck off

Brad Walker has something, i can see it and so can my pet goldfish and also all the coaches he has had in the past few years.
He needs to stay at pools and knuckle down.If he has a good season and proves himself he could go on to bigger things and we might get some decent dosh for him.
Goldfish is called Busby by the way.

I'm not sure how he 'stagnated' last season he completely reinvented himself as a player and looked like someone who could play at a higher level with more experience at centre half.

Once the magic dust had worn off , I didn't think he was that clever at centre half in the last half dozen games of the season.

I think he stood out in a team shockingly low on confidence and quality. I'd be disappointed to see him go and think he'd be making a mistake if he did.
