Miserable prog rock shite but without the self-knowing wit of the likes of Yes. Not the worst band ever but comfortably the worst to get so big.

Never got it, so many better bands out at the time. Music is pretty much broken now if they're still going and headlining the biggest festival in the country.

I'm not a fan. Can listen to them but at the same time wouldn't miss them. Creep covered by Chrissy Hinds is pure class though.

There are countless successful bands who I think are shite but that's just it isn't it? All down to personal preference and just because I think they're shite it doesn't make it so.

No, but if I think Radiohead are shite they are. I know a shite band when I see one and Radiohead are extremely shite. It's the fact that they take themselves so seriously that makes them worse than other shite bands.

In your opinion yes which is the only angle you can come from.

Doesn't make it so of course, especially to the millions who don't agree with you.

Unless they're all wrong?

In that case the quote should have been "...I know a shite band when I hear one..." Just saying like

You might be right but I'm pretty certain about Radiohead. I need the blinkers to help to ignore the millions who are wrong about those whining, tuneless fuckers. There aren't many bands I actively dislike but Thom (the fucking H!) and his guys are one of them.

And you can use 'see' if you like when they're on the telly or playing live Mr Bishop. And it wasn't a quote.

Monsieur Toulouse my witty retort was a play on words, and FTR was sort of backing you up!

Here is a reasonable question:

If Gary Coxall and Thom Yorke were both on fire and you were bursting for a piss with no option but to piss on one of them, who would you save with your only enough to save one person bladderful?

The Pretenders. Set of the festival so far, fucking proper rock with guitars.

Enjoyed bits of Radiohead but it was a very slow start!

I think Thom Yorke and the lads would be quite relieved that they polarise opinion.
They certainly don't go for the populist, clap along, arena ready anthems that some big acts go for.

They play music they love and just so happens that they have a massive following, me bring one of them. They are incredible live. And I mean incredible. Going to Old Trafford CC to see them.

The Foo's tonight and can't wait for them either......new album soon and another fantastic live act

Basically this as I'm too lazy to say why I love them.

I saw Radiohead in Denmark a couple of weeks ago, same set list and they were unreal! In the flesh it was proper full on and unbelievably complicated to keep together. Most amazing musicians I've ever seen live. They also played every single tune I wanted to hear so I was made up! Top band.

One of my exes used to play the Bends and OK Computer incessantly, so it's not possible for me to be objective about them.

Undeniably had some good tunes 20 odd years ago when they were young men, just saddens me a bit to see them still all mournful and wailing when they are middle aged millionaires. I suppose that is true of a lot of bands when they get massive though.

Enjoyed Dizzee Rascal and currently watching Katy Perry. I've enjoyed some of Radiohead's stuff in the past but was surprised to see them headlining.

I personally listen to what the feck I like and anyone tries to tell me I'm wrong can suck a fart.
