 Post subject: Oyster Card Thingys!!!!

I know a thread was done about these not so long ago but can someone condense the info for me????

Going to that there London tomorrow and coming back on Monday....what will I need to buy and how much for those 4 days???? sctatchinghead

Depends on where you are going, how far, and how many times you use it.

I always put £20 on mine. Uusally does me for a weekend. Or Mon-Thurs.

A bit of advice though. If you are only going te underground for 2-3 stops. WALK.

You see loads more interesting stuff, and there are usually pubs along the route.

And go to Borough market, and enjoy it. Its brilliant.

Staying in East London for a wedding on the Sunday but wanting to travel a bit on the Saturday and obviously getting to and from kings cross Friday and Monday.

Can't you just use your contactless debit card these days? Or does it work out more expensive?
