However folk saying they will stop going because we are changing the physio ? WTF ?

The Facebook page is in overdrive. Been mention of a minutes silence and a walk out of the first home game on the minute that relates to his squad number from his one appearence.

A walk out? Is that from those who wouldn't protest against Cockall?
Priorities!

How fickle or full of bullshit some people are saying im not going because they've sacked buster grow up ffs.
Buster yes good servant and supporter of the club how ever he is employed by the club and if the club no longer require his services then so be it.
After the mess we are coming out of im just glad we have a club and im sure buster will get another job and if he supports pools like im sure he does he can come in the town end and watch them like the rest of us.

The biggest problem I have personally in all of this is the slight possibility that lurking in the background somewhere is Dave Jones and he somehow he had some influence in this.

You know that for a fact?

I have this nagging doubt. He's was Pams man to start with, then a few weeks ago Kevin Cooper ends up right at the top of the list of prospective managers almost from nowhere. It was always the intention for Cooper to take over from Jones at the point he'd just achieved another promotion. That didn't work out did it!? I heard when he was here that Jones was on Sage's payroll. It might be 5% possible but it's causing me to feel a bit uneasy about this.

Cooper appeared at the top of whose list? The only list that was ever out there was the bookies odds, which closed at one point because apparently Collins was nailed on, so can't be taken as any clue as to who was ever on the clubs shortlist. It also had Dave Jones to return at 12/1!. I could probably put myself at the top of that list with a £50 bet.

Don't get me wrong, I'd happily blame Jones if I tripped over my own feet, but I don't get the linkage with Buster leaving at all.

I don't see Jones sitting Bond style in a dormant volcano with a giant Map of the world and a monorail stroking his pussy while plotting the downfall of Pools by feeding the physio to the crocs in his personal pool and everyone else who pissed him off on a rota, (check you position) you may be next

Just read Facebook comments on this... I feel sullied. Jesus wept, get some perspective people!
I am genuinely gutted buster is off but we know nothing of day to day life at pools. Pam seems smart enough not to score a totally avoidable own goal without some rational thinking behind the decision.

Alan Fogan was nearly bigger than the club and I think Dave Jones actually was wider but maybe not as high.

No wonder the players didn't like Jones, they never got a look in at the buffet.

I had 39 Carlisle fans come up to me on Olu Deniz beach today saying that our club is a fucking disgrace for sacking our physio. I had to have a stern word with them as they started throwing deck chairs about towards the local ice cream man shouting Pam out! I reassured them that I heard about this 3 weeks ago and it was all part of the clubs big June announcement.

For him too be 'sacked' the club have to be 100% sure they have got all the facts or there will be hefty compensation claim going in for unfair dismissal especially with the number of years Service he had.

Seems strange to be sacked mid-week mid-month too, no notice given, so common sense says something was untoward.

This must be the biggest over reaction I've seen at Pools ever.

As people say, he must've done something to warrant this.

Yes he's a poolie and it's good to have people who support the club working for it but at the end of the day, it's just the physio and can be replaced. I liked Buster and it's a shame but he'll get another job and we'll get another physio.

Get behind the team for fuck's sake everyone. There's a reasonable chance of a good season for once and after the last few years, can we all not just move in the same direction?

You couldn't make it up, some of the same people who criticised those who said they wouldn't go to home games until Coxall had gone are the ones saying they won't be renewing their season tickets because the Physio has gone.

Was it not that massive local company Samsung who were investing in Pools?

I will not be going to games this season because I heard yesterday that one of the turnstile operators had been dismissed after being a stalwart for 3 months, he made a joke to Pam saying" man who walk through turnstile backwards, most likely going to Bangkok", she didn`t get it being a no tail, sickens me that quality quips are going unloved, PAM OUT!

I am too technologically thick to post the screenshot on here but to paraphrase he said that he's shocked at Buster being sacked as he's Pools through and through but as well a top quality physio, and he believes 'this Pam woman' is being advised by 'an outside influence'

It's fairly clear what is being intimated.

He then said it will be interesting how we do and the it won't be easy.

It is obvious that Buster is well liked and as big a Hartlepool fan as we are. The players and management have always spoken highly of him as a physio so you would think he has done something seriously upsetting to have been sacked. I'm sure it will all come out in the wash.

It hasn't been easy for several years now....... Is he saying Buster is the dynamic driving force behind the team ? If so, Buster has some explaining to do.

There were plenty of comments from ex players, managers and coaches along lines of Buster has held this club together for the last 10 years. What the hell was their job at the time then and why weren't they also holding the club together?
