What old man.....? Once someone's bought him one that's just one sale. You haven't thought that one through gave you.

Since when did you have to buy cards/present or even a trust membership for the granddad? Just saw these cards in the shops the other day. It's not fricken granddad's day, that was decades ago. Time to move over and let us dads take all the glory.

The granddads are generally dads or they couldn't have got to be granddads. No need for granddad cards I agree but the granddads deserve a fair share of whatever shite people are buying for Fathers' Day.

That's not in dispute, they should get stuff off their kids not their grandkids.

But whatever you do - don't ask Monkeybutt to send it direct to your mobile, so you can present it to your old man on Sunday !
Got mine this morning, even though my lad had asked for it to be sent to him !
I'm absolutely made up, mind.
Did you work for Pools in an administrative capacity in a former life MB ?!

Sorry like but the whole concept of fathers day is pathetic.

More American bollocks.

You must be quite insecure if you need a day like that to prove you are a father.

Abject & sincere apologies to Mr Monkeybutt for my post above !
When I mentioned to my son that I had posted a comment about my father's day gift ( HUST membership ) being e mailed to me instead of him, he admitted he could have been wrong and given my e mail address instead of his.
Hope I haven't damaged your fine reputation too much, MB.
Looking forward to my first meeting & if I can find you, there'll be a pint by way of apology !

I finally managed to print mine off yesterday, on see decent quality paper/card. Have to say it looks quite nice, at 12 by 8 inches, it would look nice in a frame.

I dont think his reputation will ever recover from the CB Radio/warm milk story tbh.

Was rereading that thread yesterday actually.

One of the best.

As I keep telling the wife, I`m not always right but I`m never wrong

No need for apologies, thick skinned, arsey and my reputation was tarnished way before the spurious accusations of grooming and lactic shenanigans :naughty:

What about thieving tenners from poor families? Surely that was a new low even for a man of your extensive pre-tarnishing.

Poor my arse, I was the victim, believing I was getting a portion off a consenting adult, £10 seems fair for my trouble :hand:

On a slight aside Mr Butt, surely there is a willing volunteer to upload/download a picture to the TRUST website/The Bunker/Facebook/The Tinternet in General? There I've put out a request for you at no charge!

Now then, Mick !
As you've no doubt guessed, I'm back from my jollies & have up to date details on Mr C, who looked in fine fettle, by the way.
Don't know when I'll be back over Pool way, but happy to stand you a pint if the opportunity arises.
