Decent signing imo, good height , good age. Has fell from grace over last couple of years, but hopefully can resurrect it with us. Not

See the usual suspects off here , were quick to update his Wiki profile

Jake Ashley Cassidy (born 9 February 1993) is a Welsh professional footballer who currently plays for Hartlepool United as a striker. Jake is the son of singer David Cassidy, Jake could never sing so he originally wanted to emulate his uncle Butch but a career path in football soon emerged keeping him on the straight and narrow

He may have to sing, if he wants paying at Hartlepool.

3 signings in one day, I'm a little more optimistic however I've only heard of one of them and he's had a quiet few years. Not saying that's a bad thing, most of our better players over the years have come to rebuild their careers.

Not exactly buzzing yet but at least things are moving on.

IF we can keep Amond, Cassidy might the the ideal front man Podge can feed off in a role more suited to him and bag 30 goals+ as he did for Grimsby.

Cassidy and Rodney front two, I'd be happy with that.

Resigned to the fact Amond will go to a league club, maybe even back to Grimsby.

Rodney has certainly got potential to become a goal machine.
Not sure if he will start the first game but a good player to come off the bench.
Off topic should be nailed on that the new top 7 play off system gets voted in today.

Top 7 should be a last resort like never mind mid table shit.
The optimism is slowly returning even thinking about renewing me STicket which was a definate no no last week.

Before the signings I was resigned to a relegation scrap, play offs look realistic now. Would still like to see us get rid of a bit more deadwood such as Oates and Walker and bring in an experienced battle hardened centre half and a couple of out and out wingers , not sure if Munns is a winger like.

We've got an unproven manager at this level and four new signings that we know little about. Playoffs is a bold prediction but it's nice to see such optimism. All we've been able to be positive about this last season is eventually paying our tax bill.
I'd be disappointed if we didn't go back up but I'm not daft enough to expect it. Not very often a team is almost completely rebuilt and is successful is it?

I think these signings and a couple more, plus keep Amond and Magnay, mean we should be able compete at this level. No good signing players though and losing the good players we already have, though I'm sure these signings can only help in persuading Amond and Magnay to stay.
