I will be hiring a car it doesn't have Sat Nav, I would only need a Sat Nav for 1 journey so don't want too buy one, my Mobile doesn't have a Sat Nav option.
I have come across this company on the net, hireasatnav.com, anybody know anything about them, no reviews on the net, scam ?

You can buy them for as cheap as £40 on Amazon if you are going to only use it once just be careful with all of the packaging and when you're done send it back. You have the right to return anything bought online for a full refund within 40 days.

Iif you've used it the the retailer has the legal right to deduct a fair amount as a result of it being handled. It's 14 days not 40.
Anyone who does this for the purpose you are suggesting is effectively committing fraud.

I bought 2 microphones off amazon to use for a karaoke night at a party, sent them back the next day and got my money back.

I think it's pikeys who charge exorbitant rates for unwanted tarmac and carry out uneeded roof repairs for pensioners.

Read a map to where you're going before you go then remember it.

That would be my choice. Whatever happened to the World?. Where the hell is he going ? Crookfoot Reservoir? now that's a pig to get to by road , without a map or a sat nav.

Aye ! they don't count the votes in Easington they weigh them. Though joking aside I wouldn't be surprised if there was voter apathy tomorrow, with the Brexit/UKIP types, maybe torn between Brexit and betraying Labour, therefore opting to give it a swerve. From our point of view. will be interesting to see if Easington returns to the sort of 30,000 majorities it had in the past or whether the Labour vote will show a further decline.

Take a road atlas with you and pull over every 500 yds to check it.

Here is an idea read the map get a pen out and write notes to where you are going. I did this for three weeks round North Yorkshire moors when working for Yorkshire water. They got me a sat nav and guess what my way I did myself was quicker on the route

Ask one of the Bunker members to go with you and they can direct you.

No one has thought this through. How can the OP get to a Sat Nav rental shop without directions from...... Sat Nav?
