Really sorry to see Pooles dropping through the trapdoor. Like many Addicks I have fond memories of your last two visits to the Valley and immense respect for you and your club and the support you give your team, even perhaps when they don't deserve it.

Most clubs have bad times caused by bad owners, bad managers or simply bad players. But I firmly believe everything is cyclical in football and I'm sure Pooles are going to be back sooner rather than later with you guys behind them!

As I said in the top box, keep the faith!!!

Thanks mate! Your message, and those from other fans, are a crumb of comfort in these crap times. Isn't it strange how certain clubs, the Addicks, the Gas and the Saddlers in particular, always seem to have decent fans - whereas others, who shall remain nameless, seem to attract more than their fair share of twats.

I remember an evening cup match with you, when you where in the premiership and I was impressed by the hospitality you gave to us, particularly when you clapped our players off at the end.
There are certain clubs I can single out for their friendship and Charlton Athletic are one of them.
I always look for your results and am pleased when you do well.
I would rather have one Charlton Athletic than ten of the so called big boys.
You should be proud that you follow a proper club, as we are to follow Pools.
