Well here we go, I very rarely post and I'm usually just a casual reader of the board. The banter in the good old days on hear a number of years ago used to crease me up. Having started supporting pools at ripe old age of 11, first game my dad took me to stand in the Milhouse stand. 23rd August 1994 Pools 5 - 1 bury. This was easy supporting pools. Always wondered why my dad used to come home a bit miffed most Saturdays for the previous 11 years I hadn't been going  .
Anyway that was me hooked, season ticket holder ever since. Having worked abroad mostly over th last 5 years I have missed a fair few games not by choice but this will be the first game I have chosen not to go.
Some might say shame on you but the current hierarchy in change now have completely ruined my/our club and I completely refuse to hand over anymore cash to these people. It hurts to not go, never would I of thought of this day happening after standing in tears before the game at the millennium stadium because the awe of 17000 pools fans was just too much. Grow man crying because of the support and passion this small little town had created that day. Amazing.
So comes to today, it's in the players hands to create history, 100% effort nothing more nothing less.
Fingers crossed results go our way but like I said before, my money will be staying in my pocket, joined the Trust last week along with my brother. Never thought the need initially but it is the only way us/our passionate fans can support Hartlepool Unitedwhen things start to turn sour behind the scenes.
So come on lads, do us proud and leave everything you have on the field that's all we ask.
Never Say Die

 Oh yeah, i forgot the real issues of the club need addressing before anything else. I'm surprised we didn't try postponing the game today to sort out this badge debacle.
C'mon Pam, Gary or whoever is in charge, we need answers on this badge !!!!

They'll be gone by the end of today.

Can't see any other outcome...

There's always one team who loses at the last hurdle to do us a favour. Remember Gillingham in 2010? Northampton in 2009?

Thing is we didn't have to combine those favours with a win.

And it didn't work at all in the Scooty season.

And don't get me talking about Oldham.

Anyway where's fans united when the boot's on the other foot?

A distraction, like throwing a ball for a dog. Let's see if anything ever comes of it, but it looks like a lash up to me.
