As a kid it removed from our Hartlepool junior Cricket club crest as it was pointing out by concerned parents that it looked like it was bucking the Hart.

That tweet didn't last very long after the response it got.

They're all terrible, and the least eye-catching thing I've ever seen.

More importantly though, which idiot is going to buy any club merchandise with this badge on it when they know what their money is going towards?

The trust should knock out some retro shirts with an old school badge and they'd make a killing.

I voted Classic number 2, however the timing amidst all this chaos, dear me beggars belief.

I think they are gold not brown or yellow by the way.

And if they want a new badge in place for next season they need to get it chosen and submitted etc sharpish. Cant imagine its holding anything major back.

Sorry for being on the side of the club here btw.

I thought we'd agreed it had to have Humphrey's face, a thing on its back and some other stuff? Pam out!

Also no 5 looks like an arm patch for some rural Nazi movement.

Not being funny but no.2 has no mention of FC or Football Club! Just in the current climate.......

The first two other badges I googled were Manchester United and Arsenal, neither of those do either so maybe it's not as common as you'd think.

I should of done Arsenal and Reading really.

There's a link under the article where you can take a much closer look at the badges and see them in blue & white and black & white. #2 looks really nice in Blue & White.

I think 1 to 3 would be appropriate for us as the stags all look as if they've been taken by surprise.
The whole point was to get something new and different and all we've got is a rather bland mish mash of the town crest . A distraction.
A bit like showing the wine list to a man on the gallows.

All the turmoil to one side.....number two for me too. The diamond one is fucking dire.

Can't say any are particularly inspiring.

The lad prefers the current one.

I just don't like clubs changing badges ever to be honest.

This. It's not the town's crest without the backbiter.
