Really shocked by this I was only talking to him less than two weeks ago!

Tottenham U23's were in the same hotel as us in Southport as they were playing Everton the following day. I saw him near the lift and thought it was him but didn't know he was at Spurs then ended up briefly chatting at the bar later really nice bloke who looked as fit as he did in his playing days very sad news indeed and another of those things that shows us life's too short.

He was a really nice fella I met him at the Cheltenham festival a few year back, he was also involved in many bands including little comets from Durham.
