Bit risky like. Don't disagree with decision to release him but don't see the need to compromise squad further as mentioned above

Not a bad back up keeper, I didn't realise he was 31 I thought he was much younger. He has taken up a coaching job with Middlesbrough academy. I would've liked to have kept him until the end of the season as back up mind.

Maybe I've not seen the right matches, but whenever I've seen him I've always thought he was a more than able back-up.

Could we not have kept him for just six more weeks? Good luck to the fella, but it's s really odd one this.

You'd think we could have come to some kind of agreement in which we still have him registered as a player and splits his time during the week between training with us and coaching at Middlesbrough.

Did the club ever announce this? I know I saw him on the pitch in the warm up but never saw the club announce it? Sure I read somewhere his player registration hadnt come through?

Bartlett only left Gateshead because he was going to take similar offer from Newcastle but decided to play on for a couple more seasons and just coach part time.

We're saying he's the one who's asked to be released and if it's securing his longer term future, it wouldn't be right to stop him.

i was excited when we signed him but feel he never quite lived up to expectations, I cannot recall him having a blinder. Good Luck to him but I do wonder how some of these people get these jobs.

So they have. no player registration, I guessing Dudzinki or whatever he is called will be on bench.

Seriously I have no idea I just wish this thread or wider social media held some clues?????

#whohassignedfordarlo

I am going for Tom Kaak, the bloke Reynolds said was better than Gabbiadini because he was 'young and could run fast'.
