Even so, they can't be written off on the strength of one measly winding up petition. Wait till they've had three!

And if their mentalist owner has been turning down offers because they don't meet his valuation, at least there is some interest - can't imagine any potential new owners have been beating a path to Coxall's door.

Sorry to hear that The O's are in such dire straights. I know by league places their misfortune especially last night's 1-4 loss is Pools' gain but would rather Stevenage, Crawley Town or other usurpers to division four were to go. I hope The O's as well as Pools survive. A couple of seasons ago they were flying and looked like making the championship until being literally interfered with. Rest my case. P.S. ToTheHartlepool4-0!

Many happy memories of Orient - particularly the old supporters club under the east stand....and the Shameless pub on the corner.....

When I was a kid growing up I always thought Leyton Orient and West Bromwich Albion sounded exotic clubs so they were always teams I followed. Sad state of affairs for the O's.
Crazy when the likes of Wayne Rooney are being offered a million quid a week in China.

I would be gutted to see them go pop. Hope they stay up at the expense of Cheltenham. Or Accrington for that matter.

One team I really hope goes the way of Rushden and Diamonds is MK Dons. Would LOVE them to fall through the leagues in nowt.

Doubt MK would ever get into bother. The authorities and Sky seem to go out of their way to make them feel loved. Werent they a proposed venue for our failed world cup bid too?

It's the fastest growing city in the UK and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

That will never excuse Waterman for buying a football franchise rather than doing it the hard way, but promotion out of League One continues to elude 'the Dons' so perhaps God is a football fan after all.

That Franchise will never be called "the Dons" as long as Peter Winkelman has a hole in his arse.

There's a lot of similarities between them and the Red Bull teams that are popping up, they just buy a club and change it's identity. The German one is particularity unpopular with every opposition they play's fans showing their disgust. Hasn't stopped them being comfortably 2nd in the league behind Bayern Munich.

While I dislike how they were formed it was 13 years ago now and AFC Wimbledon have done themselves proud getting back in the league. I can safely say I'm over it.

Quote form the Mail. It reckons the 12 point deduction wouldn't be carried over until next season

"Administration would mean an immediate 12-point point deduction"

I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It's always the fans and even the players who suffer.

They're smashing Newport away today, if they get a deduction I'd like to think we're safe. Sad that relying on another team going into administration could be what keeps us up.

Hopefully we will stay up without the need for that.

Newport all but relegated now. Must have done Orient players no good to find out they'd only narrowed the gap by one point after getting a win like that today.
