Werent these games covered by that £45 for 3 matches or whatever it was?

Doesnt this latest deal mean those who paid £45 (if any did) will actually now be paying more?

Good offer - must have been looking at what Mansfield have done.

What Mansfield did was bring in 7 or 8 new players, better than they had before and not just year 10 school kids on paid work experience.

Must've been an administrative oversight for us not to have done that. Yep I'm sure Gary has it all in hand. Any day now they'll come flooding in and then those tickets might look an attractive deal.

All of these offers sound great but they never work, as soon as you start asking floating fans to make a trip down to the ticket office on a non match day you are struggling already.

People have responded in the past to them simply lowering pay of the day prices. Open a couple of cash turnstiles and make it a tenner for adults and a fiver for kids and people will turn up on the day.

It makes me wonder who the heck thinks of these hair brained and complicated schemes for teams like Pools. As said above cut the pay on the day price and let people rock up and pay at the gate (or the ticket booth as it now is)

It really is as simple as that, only 7 home games left and we are flirting with relegation. Get as many in the ground as you can to create some kind of atmosphere. I'm almost certain the majority of the pay on the day fans would buy a pint or a pie etc..
