Pools look like an airliner on a flight where the pilot has the concerned passengers knocking on the cockpit door to tell him bits are falling off the plane and the engines keep flaming out.
The pilot keeps smiling and telling everyone things are fine and it's normal for bits to drop off...... Half the passengers are happy to believe him despite the signs and order more drinks....the other half are inflating their life jackets furiously and wanting him to land.
And bits keep falling off the plane.

Agree with the above, only I see the pilot locked out of his cockpit too. He's also knocking on the door trying to get in, whilst reassuring those who want to believe him all is well

I think its time mr coxall gives up now and trys to sell the club, before things get nasty. Which they will if the club keeps going the way it is. Who would want to buy us? who knows but its time to go now before the debts get too great.

If it gets 'nasty', the chairman can walk away. He's not local, he has no connections, he can ride out on the horse he rode in on.
As for getting a new buyer, that's another story.

They changed the accounting period a while back, no doubt a Goldberg idea, the accounts are not legally overdue. Duff info from your man, he's probably looking at the last accounts and extrapolating the dates. Could do better
